We came here on a Friday morning right when we got off a tour bus. There were no line for outside seatings and there were readily available tables. However when we came back around noon, all the tables were full. The from here are gorgeous! The food was good. Nothing out of this world but the made it worth it. The staff are nice and friendly. The restrooms are clean. The food was good! Not out of this world but also nothing horrible. Average food. But the were stunning! And the coffee was decent. Typical German coffee so not really like espresso drinks. The interior is bright and small, but the are the highlight of the restaurant. There is an outside terrace but in the summer be mindful that the bees are very persistent. Service was okay for how crowded they were. Not many shaded spots outside but the is unobstructed if you sit on the terrace. The here were great, you can see the city centre from here. The food was not great though, the avocado spread has weird taste. I would maybe recommend coming here just to get something to drink and enjoy the A cozy café right by the lake with stunning of Hallstatt and the water. They have a selection of Austrian beers and the pizza was fresh and tasty. What stood out most was the warmth of the staff and how quick the service was — everything arrived within minutes. The ground floor seating still gives you a great view, and the overall vibe is calm and welcoming. Also, very clean washrooms, which is always a plus when you're traveling. Highly recommend stopping by. Came here following the high reviews and was not disappointed. Had an amazing pizza and a decent ham and cheese toast. Baileys coffee was too. Service was welcoming and fluent in English. The immaculate was really the main selling point here; amazing place to chill at to appreciate and bask in the that Hallstatt has to offer. Also plus point for the swans and ducks that swim over in the water to quack at you! We had lunch at Seecafe both the days we were in Hallstatt. It's situated right on the lake very near to the bus stop. They have inside seating and outside seating with an amazing of the lake. The vegetarian options are limited but really good. It's a nice place to spend time enjoying the of the lake and have a meal. This is the highest rated restaurant in the area for a reason, or for several perhaps. Major being the from the restaurant, some people just come to the spot for pictures. You can observe the swans wadding and strutting by, wagging their tail- not sure if it’s for human food . And of course the food is as well- served hot. It’s mostly Italian food, I had margarita pizza and French fries. Margarita pizza crust was crispy and pizza had ample cheese. French fries were okay, I like fries when they are thinner and crispier . There could be a 10-15 minute waiting, due to its popularity. Glad that I waited! Pizza was 11.9 euros I think. Fries around 5. So decent prices. And portion size was good. Great place to visit if you want a combination of food and nice views. Looking at the reviews of other places this is one of the only restaurant/cafe worth your money. The food is alright - nothing too amazing, the pasta could use a little more sauce, but the staff is nice and the are cute.
