Enjoyed ice cream friendly staff got a nice postcard too! plenty of parking did their full Irish breakfast and they were kind to bring our breakfast to the cottage we were renting behind the restaurant breakfast was delicious! The Coffee Pot Cafe is a great stop for a snack before or after hiking the Gap of Dunloe! After a cold, rainy trek, we thoroughly enjoyed some hot tea, soup and their fantastic deserts! Great place to stop for lunch after hiking the gap of Dunlow. The espresso, Baileys coffee, fish & chips, quiche, BLT, and cakes and pies were all delicious! And of course ice cold Coke can’t be beat. The coffee pot cafe has got it all happening! After a long hike through the gap, we decided to have brunch here. Talk about hidden gems. The food and the service were outstanding. I had the warm ciabatta with relish, bacon and brie( it came with a quality salad and great chips). It was so good, I had go and thank them.My husband had the lasagne ( also came with a great salad and chips). Everything was first class. And then there was the service. Genuine warmth and banter. They also had an impressive array of cakes and desserts which we originally intended to order if we had room….we didn’t, so make your choices wisely. My husband( rates every establishment by the quality of their chips…..he had the raves on!). Overall, I cannot praise this cafe enough for the food and service to be enjoyed here. Absolutely wonderful! Fast, attentive service, excellent food, coffee, and desserts to die for! Literally the BEST cinnamon roll I’ve ever eaten in my life — served warm with an orange glaze. Worth every single calorie! 10/10 DO RECOMMEND! The Coffee Pot Cafe was an absolute pleasure to visit! The owner and staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful! The food was delicious! The coffee was wonderful and the carriage ride up to the gap beautiful! We were visiting from Colorado and will be returning to this awesome Irish mountain retreat in the future! We had the most incredible breakfast here on Saturday. We were in the area for a family wedding. The food and service is 10/10 and we all highly recommend. Very friendly staff and can’t fault the Cafe at all. The location is absolutely perfect too and we will be back as we didn’t have time to try all the looking cakes!! Thanks so much. ❤️ We stopped at The Coffee Pot Café after our horse carriage ride, and it was the cutest little place! The inside felt so cozy and homey, like a warm hug. The staff were really friendly, and the coffee and treats were so good. It was the perfect spot to relax with our group. Would definitely go back!
