This campsite is a little gem in the Swedish countryside. It‘s a and cozy place and the atmosphere is respectful and relaxed. No animation, no music, just friendly people enjoying their vacation. The facilities are small, but just fine. We loved it here!!! Very cool Place , I remember Places in Portugal and feel very good here , direkt Spot to the Lachs River Lovely simple camping in the countryside. No frills, no thrills simple amenity block and self check-in Had a great stay even though the weather was pretty bad. There had been a record amount of rain and most of europe - including this campsite - was a swamp. The campsite luckily has a very sitting and kitchen area that we made loads of use of. If you are a climber and come here without a car you really have all you need. A but function kitchen, dry place to sit, showers (just installed a second indoor one) and laundry. You can walk (20min) to a well stocked supermarket, burger place and a bus stop that has an hourly service to loads of crags. The train station with loads of connections and some restaurants are about 45min walk of a bus-walk combo. Combined with a decent price it’s a good base for a climbing trip if you want to be a bit more flexible in where to go then if you are on the climbers campsite further into brodalen. A lovely ish camping site, very quiet rural setting. Good value for money with all amenities provided. Would definitely go back to this site again. Nice, relaxed and basic camping in the Swedish country side with electra, toilets and a shower. Exactly what we needed. Made a cycle trip in the beautiful surroundings. You can pay by PayPal or leave money in an envelope. Perfect for salmon , but… Everything is very about this camping place: - view/a lot of nature - clean - friendly staff/cool owner - best spot of the river - playground for kids - steps to the River - … But: You should carfully read/ask for the local written and unwritten for fishing! Written rules: - you need a licence - DONT GOOGLE „fishing card örekilsälven“ because you will end up at ifiske where they say there is e.g. a weekly card for 175kr - a day of is actually ~450kr (40€) - the licence can be bought at „elveguiden.no“->login->buy card for örekilsälven - here you find the written rules, e.g. Minimum size 45cm and Maximum 70cm for salmon, only one per day and so on Unwritten rules: - maybe some are common for flyfishing, but i am a spin guy, and these have to be kept by everyone - you are only allowed to throw your fly/spinner perpendicular to the stream or downstream, Not upstream since you could accidently hook a fish - very important: you throw your fly/Spinner and take a step. You are Not allowed to stay at a place and fish. I met the „fisk polit“ (two very friendly Young guys/students from the area) who told me i can fish and if i See someone i Need to move latest After 20min. The camping place owner told me that i have to keep moving. My Interpretation of all the Information was: if i have a section i want to fish i constantly move up to the end and stay for Max 20min. This led to an misunderstanding with local fisherman (together with other germans how didnt know any of the since they are new to the game) SO: you throw your fly/Spinner and you take at least one step downstream! but beautiful campsite. Well-equipped parking for campers and caravans. The service building is with two bathrooms and two showers. There is a washing machine and dryer with outdoor cables for guests to use. The service building could have looked better and been larger. The owners have still put a lot of effort into the details. There is a parking space for electric cars to charge.
