The tent areas are very good and we had plenty of room even though it is peak season and the rest of the sites were full. The tent site cost 300 SEK. The toilet blocks and facilities are a little dated but are functional. The showers are operated by a card which is preloaded with 100 SEK. You use it to get 3 mins of water. Location is very nice as it is by the and there is no traffic noise. We enjoyed our stay here as it is better than some we have stayed in recently. Sailed here and stayed for a few weeks for very good price, even in high season. This is a very idyllic place, I love it. When the weather is beautiful, it becomes lively during the day. You need to be self-sufficient here. Apart from a few small things you can buy at the office, there’s no other possibilities to do groceries. Next place to do so is Henån. pipes are generally too short to reach the boat. Camp site has many bungalows and a few tent spots. Large enough for our tent trailer. Limited facilities. Toilets ok but needs some refreshments. When we were there many toilets were out of order so that was very inconvenient: waiting in line is not what you are looking for. Inexpensive. Dog friendly. Booking was finally ok but before that pretty troublesome. A few kitchens on the site which was fine. Nice camping! The location is good, there is / harbour all around you. The showers and toilets are basic, but clean. You have to buy a card for the showers. There is fresh bread and yoghurt at the reception in the morning for a good price. The location is great but the facilities can use an upgrade. They're clean though. For tents you have a few spots to pick which are shared with other campers. Electricity is limited in those areas. Very nice and not too big place. Beautiful surroundings and good facilities. There's a playground, soccer field and minigolf course for kids of all ages. The toilets, showers and other shared rooms are always clean and there are enough available. The beach does not go steep into the water, so it's not too dangerous for kids. Supervision is, of course, obligatory. A perfect place to stay, if not ultimate luxury is required. Very helpful staff. Spots are well organized and you get instructions how to place your tent/trailer in order to keep things private. Facilities are clean. Showers are paid by pre-paid card. The wifi range is somehow limited but it's free. Very beautiful place but bad service. I checked in late but the receptionist never told me that hot wasn't free ... When I went back to the office to buy a card, it was closed. We felt very welcome here. Especially the nice madam on her bike was very friendly and heartwarming to us. + every „parcel“ has its own wooden terrace + electric boiler in kitchen for free use + bathing platform on the sea + nice surrounding to discover + boat rental - a lot of wind, but I guess that is normal at the swedish west coast It does what it says on the tin! I stayed at Vindon for two nights last week. Due to my plans changing at the last minute, I stayed different nights to those I initially planned and the operators were brilliant at accommodating me and my changes. I wasn’t able to arrive while the reception was open and as my phone didn’t work in Sweden I had troubles communicating with Vindons, but they had made arrangements for me to access the cabin I had hired and were very helpful with my changed requirements. The site was very tranquil (might be less so in season, but that might suit those with children). And everything was as it should be with the cabin and facilities. Others have noted that the buildings, etc are “Run down” personally, I think this is a little harsh. They are not all freshly built / refurbished / painted externally. But mine was beautiful (in an Ikea sort of way) and clean internally and they are a LOT cheaper and more environmentally friendly than the semi posh hotel I stayed at the rest of the week. I did worry on my first night that I couldn’t find anywhere to buy food, but perhaps if I had used my satnav, I would have found somewhere nearer. Also, if I had been able to communicate with the operators they might have been able to put me some provisions in the cabin (I don’t think they do this as a regular thing, but might have made an exception for a poor weary international traveller). Overall, a lovely place to stay and great value for money.
