Took the boat from Kungshamn to have breakfast and we were positively surprised by the fantastic breakfast buffet, at a very decent price. You will find everything from cereal to bread to eggs to typical sill/herring and lots of sausages and salami. The coffee was great too. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly or service-minded, and we were reminded fairly sternly that the breakfast lady was going to start putting the dishes away. We took it in spirits though. We even brought our dishes in from the outside but weren’t even thanked. But unfortunately this has become pretty common in Sweden - professionalism and courtesy aren’t valued by Swedes it seems. At least Brygghuset don’t seem to think it is important. The collection is fantastic, by the way. We will come back to try some another time. Food was delicious and expensive (but worth the price). Delicious seafood and a large selection of fine whisky. Excellent. Outstanding. Food. Wine. Staff. Surroundings. Dishes and ingredients are excellent. The distinctive menu underlines the commitment to high quality. A distinguished selection of wines far from mainstream. The staff is welcoming, warm, attentive, charming. Cabinets on the wall store 2800 different creating a nice and cosy atmosphere. Even if most of them are not to be served, there are quite a number of to choose from and the manager will find one to match your taste. This is the place to go. Upmarket but excellent value for money. Reservation recommended. Biggest malt collection in Scandinavia. Great place to have cool activities at (lobster fishing, hiking, etc.) and enjoy tasting creations prepared with fine ingredients. Ordered: Oysters, Lobster & Crème brûlée. I loved all my dishes! Nice service, great view of the water ☺️ We read about the restaurant in the White Guide were it was rated as “god klass”. And indeed it was yummy food. We went first for lunch and sat outside. Really value - we took the beef patties (Biff à la Lindström) which included a free starter (herring buffet) for under 200 SEK. Went again for the evening and then it turned into a bit finer menu, also price wise . Started with Lillia Legris and Gillardeau oysters (the Gillardeau tastes better) and had fish soup as main. Went for a bottle of Lanson champagne for the food and finished off with 2 interesting whiskies (they apparently have the biggest whiskey selection in whole Sweden ). The “Fermutation” Ardbeg and a nice 18 yo Highland Park . Love those smoky ones from Islay and Orkney. We visited Brygghuset Fiskebäckskil on Saturday evening as it came highly recommended. And we were not disappointed. The food was and the staff very attentive. Even though they had a big party in the other room of the restaurant it did not deter from our service. We had the lobster which was extremely well priced. They have an extensive range, but unfortunately we did not get to sample that. Something for next time. Nice place, super staff but food is not enough to motivate the price (even though its good) We had an incredible dinner here with friendly in the sweetest, coziest space. The menu was focused on Swedish dishes with some basics included for the picky eaters in our party. The sea bream with cabbage, mushrooms, and carrot puree was my choice, and it exceeded my expectations! The is good, the seafood great and the wine list is adequate. The atmosphere and location by the sea is lovely. The whiskey offering is completely amazing! Fantastiskt ställe! Riktigt bra mat, och bra service. Kan bli lite väntan när det är fullsatt, vilket man förstår. Men det kan vara bra att ha med i beräkningen ifall ni är hungriga. Humana priser, vilket gör att man gärna unnar sig något extra. Och att bara gå runt i väntan på maten och titta på deras samling är helt fantastiskt. J'y ai déjeuné aujourd'hui : une sole entière accompagnée de pommes de terre. Le repas était de très bonne qualité et j'ai été très bien accueillie. Le est rapide et agréable. Le cadre de bord de mer est très plaisant. Je recommande à tous les amateurs de bonne cuisine.
