Small, important, extremelly beautiful, lovely, a jewel in Busseto. To sing Verdi there was a big honor for me. The backstage is OK, not small, but not big. There are good mirrors. As an artist, I really liked to sing there. After personal tour of Roncale and Busseto following in Verdi's footsteps, this small intimate opera house was icing on the cake. Grazie Mille, Elena for bringing Verdi to life for us! As opera lovers we visited Verdi's places and this small historical jewel. Maybe the acoustic is not perfect , but the atmosphere is surely really good. Dating to Verdi's times, although the Maestro never wanted to go there or be linked to it when he was still alive. Pity that performances are sporadic and not all of them seem at a decent level. The opera house is small, but grand. The experience of seeing a Verde opera there is unforgettable.
