Quella volta purtroppo non prenotai il biglietto per ascoltare le melodie del Maestro, anche se 'a Cremona' ci venivo di frequente, ma per rappezzare alcune note dolenti della mia salute. Chi invece era presente al Ponchielli ad osannare Masini era Eleonora, figlia di una mia carissima cugina; lei trova ogni brano di Masini un'eccelsa cura...
