My kind of place. A brown pub with a lot of Belgian beer, and a lot more. They have a large place for sitting outside in the square, witch is very quiet and calm. The staff is pleasant and efficient in their work. I ate a burger that was absolutely delicious. This place is recommended for beers, food and a atmosphere. Belgian pub in the center of Delft. Tried Vedett Extra IPA, Duvel, and a few more Belgian beauties, each with its own charm. Bizar Really moment in this place, a lot of people and movement here. The bears were great, and the recommendation of the man in charge was perfect. Thanks a lot, and we recommend this place if you want a really Belgium moment. PS : The French were too, but nothing incredible to say, ahaha We just wandered into the Beestenmarkt, not realizing it was shared by multiple businesses. Where we sat happened to be in front of the Belvédère, and it had an incredible selection of beers. Great place to relax and have a drink on a summer day! atmosphere, service. Didn't explore the menu, so can't really talk about it. It's one of the best pubs in Delft! There are many different Belgium you can choose from and the location is great. Food is nice, but nothing amazing (except the mussels which are outstanding but only available in the summer/late spring). I had a La Chouffe to drink and the bervedere burger which was so good, love how the cheese melted into the meat and the caramelized onions. The were also really good, though a bit soggy, but I like soggy so I didn’t mind at all. The place is very and had a cozy vibe to it. The bathrooms were clean and had similar aesthetic to the rest of the restaurant. The staff was also friendly. Overall for the price the food and place was worth it. I will return there next time I visit Delft Duurde "eventjes" voordat ze onze bestelling kwamen opnemen en duurde nog veel langer eer onze lunch kwam. Het twaalf uurtje, kroket, carpaccio beiden op prima bruine boterham. Rucola had zijn beste tijd gehad. Maar de tomatensoep mocht de naam soep niet hebben. Dit was gewoon een opkikkertje. If you haven’t finish your food you don’t even have the opportunity to ask for take away bag because apparently they don’t have it. I wouldn’t say that I’m really disappointed with food but my ribs were quite dry and really fat not in a way. To sum it all up it’s just average Dutch cafe with probably but not food unfortunately 😀 Place was lovely... service was fine 🙂 Beer was .. But maybe I shouldn't of ordered the mussles .. really bad ! dry .. chewy , shrivelled up & totally not fresh in any way .. even smelt a little off! If say possibly microwaved to warm up maybe ? Anyways .. For 29€ I'd expect fresh succulent fresh mussels at least ! Shouldn't be difficult! Lucky for the establishment, after a long day, i was absolutely starving and couldn't be bothered to complain and finished them all off anyways !
