Hallenbad Ismaning

Munich, Austria Indoor swimming pool

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Great for either good fun time with the family or laps/dives. Unfortunately prices have quadrupled after the renovation of the past 2 years. Still affordable, but not as much as it was, especially when going often with the full family. Avoid the busy times of you can but it's a great place with small children. We love the slide and spring board, and the various pools. Other pools have all these things bigger but the smaller size makes them more accessible with children Absolutely the best swimming in Munich area! The price/quality ratio is the best ever! Unfortunately the working hours are not that long as they might be and there are a lot of reservations for the groups (schools etc.) So, the visiting times should be selected carefully ;) E.g. 11:00 is ok as well as 15:00 usually is ok... Best. Pool. Ever. Or shall I say pools, as there are several - a lap pool, diving pool, warm children's pool, splash pool, and spa with several different therapeutic jet areas. PLUS an amazing waterslide. All for five euros. Clean, quiet...better than any water park or resort I've been to. One of the highlights of our holiday. Cheaper & less crowded than SWM pools. Good infrastructure, near to S bahn station. Wonderful public swimming pool. One large for swimmers, one practice for the little ones, one whirlpool and a baby pool. There’s a slide as well as an upstairs area with a big chess game, soft building bricks, football table and table tennis table (for the latter you need to bring your own equipment). Plenty of lockers and we’ll working showers. Topped off by very friendly and patient staff. Love coming here. The underground car park is currently (April ‘23) being renovated, so parking is limited, but the train station is only a 5min walk away. There are only two lanes for swimmers, and it can get crowded during pick hours. My main problem is that there are less hygienic and safety requirements: kids can jump from the side to the lane and there’s no sign they shouldn’t do it. There’s no requirement for wearing a swimming cap either. Anyway it’s a personal choice, and the itself is very clean and well maintained. Target audience: schoolclasses, families and clubs, not individuals! Overcrowded and only opens at 08:00!
