Great service by the owner, answering all my texts during the day and greeting me when I arrived late at night in complete darkness. All the things a family would need, to stay for however long they have food.😂 And I had it all to myself. Then the joy of waking up to this insane view! probably the best camping we had in Norway. Self-service check in, very warm and no time limited showers, high-quality equipment. Nice location near beautiful lake and only 6 min drive from mardalsfossen waterfall. Nice camping but a little bit crowded, sometimes it’s difficult to find a free spot. Bathrooms are clean, there is also a small kitchen. Reception is rather closed, you should call the owner who is very nice and helpful. Camping is located in a very nice surrounding, close to the Mardalfossen and Aurejovegen. The neighbourhood is very calm so you can rest. Fun with locals and simple nature around with cowboy festival on june Beautiful surroundings, mountains and a lake, short hike to the waterfall with amazing view. Clean and heated toilets and showers. Possible to rent a kayak to discover the lake. Friendly owner ☺️ Very nice place to stay and friendly lady who runs it. We hiked in dovrefjell national park and after a few days of wild camping and cold night in the mountain the hot showers and nice warm atmosphere of this camping felt like a paradise.
