In reality there is no menu, they cook what they have on the day, with the prices being those of a set lunch menu (i.e. €15 for main dish + salad). Not sure if the soup should have been included for that somewhat steep price, we were not served any. Food was quite decent, pizza was a standard non-woodfired oven one. Wiener schnitzel was fresh and juicy, fries nothing special. Veal roast was too dry. Side salad had no beans which was a plus for me. There was one dessert available - blueberry panna cota, no pancakes unfortunately. Service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was pleasant until inevitably the local drunks arrived and hung around at the bar, at that point it got lound and unenjoyable. A typical country inn in the center of the village. Friendly staff and smole nearby parking. There is a small covered veranda for outdoor dining which is handy in the summer. I ordered a beef stew from their lunch menu which came with a healthy serving of White bread. The stew was thick and hot with plenty of delicious beef chunks. It is easy to make a stew too soupy but that's not how they serve it here. A hearty bowl of stew was just 7 EUR with tax, the drink was 1,7 EUR. I left a tenner and was on my way.
