It was hard to dislike anything about it. The restaurant is located in an old building which was converted into a courtyard with magnificent vibes. The food was very so-so. The truffles pasta was phenomenal, but the pistachio mortadella pinsa was super subpar. The pistachio was bitter and tasted off and the mortadella was just ham, it wasn’t real mortadella in any sense. The service was incredibly slow and the waiter was not the kindest. Not that it matters that much but when it’s at this level it doesn’t bode well for the place. Delicious food, perfect garden with lovely decorations and very polite waiters. The fish baked in the oven was really succulent but even though the dish was for 2 you get one fish. The shrimp with almonds were a delicous appatizer. The prices are a bit higher then other restaurants in Porec but I think this one is deffinately worth a try because the food was tasty and you feel like in a fairytale because of the lovely decorated garden. We sat at least 30 minutes and when we understood the fact that no one coming for our order, we personally came to ask for menu. The waitress we’re so bored that in the end we left. That was the best what we actually could do 😊 The place is great but the service is disappointing. The people working there are polite but we (and people around us) were waiting way too much (more than 40 min) to get very simple orders such as cheese plate or similar. Hope the service gets better because the place has great potential. Fantastic location, wines are good, decent bar menu featuring big portions. Especially great in the evening with views on the Porec bay and a beautiful stone garden with nice lighting. The evenings with live music were wonderful. Very beautiful place and nice atmosphere when there is a wine and paint or live music going on. Unfortunately the staff is so unprofessional and rude that I have to give it a 1 star because it kills everything about this place. They question your orders based on their ideological beliefs, if there is no space at the table for your food they don’t try to find a solution but put the plate on a different table far away from you and don’t make the effort to bring the table close to you. There is 0 hospitality in these people (idk if its the low pay they receive each month or what but there is no smile on these people’s faces when they talk to customers, no love for the art of hospitality). On top of everything the cocktails are average even thought the brands that they use are not. It’s such a shame because this place has a good location and looks fabulous. It could easily be a 5 if the staff was good. I’ve been here about 5 times throughout the last three years and always had some bad experience with the staff that I just shrugged off as them being tired. But having a bad experience with them the last two was too much. I wish I took a photo with the plate being far away from me because that was diabolical 😂 We had a lovely dinner here. The food was delicious and well presented. Our waiter was very friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. Excellent service that made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend!
