Been to Pula five times for various lengths of stay but never been to this Oirish bar. Just a few yards from the market. Visited on a quiet September Sunday when most businesses closed. Reasonable trade inside and out. Paulicarus ordered me a large Pan in bottle. Madge a coffee plus a wine. Norma and Liza off looking for nightlife. ( We feel restaurant prices have rocketed in Pula since last year. Luckily this bar remains excellent value.) WIne and a coffee both 1.5€ whilst a 0.5l Pan only 2.60€. Cannot knock it at these prices...so Madge had an Irish coffee for 5€ to wake her up....... Just found a lovely back room and very toilets..so have to upgrade to 5*..when I usually avoid Irish bars outside Eire! An excellent Irish pub with a great Irish atmosphere. Clean, tidy, to be here As it is a bit away from the busy tourist area, it is not crowded. Guinness and local beers on tap, plus a great selection of drinks. Shaded, comfortable terrace. Fair price, but coffee could be better. It is quite bitter. ☕ Service ok, but a bit grumpy. I like when people smile. 😁 There was no music on the terase. We took the places outside and it was a cosy time we spent there. Also the pub is pretty spacious inside, enough to accomodate dozens of visitors. Nice staff, cool atmosphere, choice of drinks! Asked if they were showing an English Championship football match, searched the channels, found it and put it on for me on a Friday night, seems like one of the few places to catch British sport in Pula Nema hrane. It's described somewhere as being English in style, but I haven't seen a pub like this in England in over 25 years. It could be described as reminiscent of a bygone age. It is certainly old world without be overly stylish. Anyway I had a glass of the draught local which went down exceedingly well. Very reasonable price as well. If you are here, if only for a few days, it is a must visit. Much like an old fashioned pub, which I enjoy. Smoking allowed inside, so expect the smell to be representative of this fact. Pleasant staff and a meeting place not too far from the market. Small forecourt that's shaded if you need to escape the sun. Pub po mojoj mjeri....a kava odlična. Didn't get to stay here for long (one drink) however it has a real homely feel to the place and is a really nicely situated pub. atmosphere and seating options, drink choices which are more foreign options (Guinness/Heineken/Jack Daniels etc) and the prices are quite also! Would recommend stopping in for some drinks if in the local area! A great café I end up in at least a few times a week. Incredible prices and atmosphere!!
