This tavern is very good, very friendly staff, pleasant ambience, more traditional decoration. The ordered pork was roasted on a large fireplace in the space that we could watch. We haven't seen something like that in taverns for a long time. The ribs and sausages were very tasty, the gnocchi with boškarina was also very good, although the sauce tasted sweet, I don't know if it was because of too much onion or some other spice, I don't prefer this taste. Portions are quite large. Affordable prices. We went here on our way to Motovun for lunch as we saw it had very high ratings! The truffle bruschetta was delicious, the gnocchi with beef steak was okay and the beans soup was underwhelming! Their story is great but I think the food lacked a bit of flavor unfortunately. So pleased we chose Konoba DOMA for our last dinner in Croatia! We shared the Truffle Bruschetta, I had the Ravioli with Truffle sauce, and my husband had the Istria Skewer with a side of Sauerkraut. Everything was so delicious, the staff were helpful and friendly. I had had a bad experience with a truffle dish at a different restaurant earlier in the week and Konoba DOMA reminded me just how good truffles can be! To my birthday Dinner I invited my family to this wonderful place. The Service was amazing and the served good even more. They created a starter plate with homemade sausages and truffle ravioli. It was delicious. Thanks! There were 5 of us and we wanted to try everything. And we did! 😁 Well, almost. Kidding aside, everything that we did try was fresh, homemade and delicious. If I had to choose, my pick would be Bruschetta with garlic spread, sausage and caramelised onion; Pljukanci with prosciutto and skuta (I think) and all of the deserts. 😆 Thank you so much for feeding us and sorry if we laughed too loud.
