Beautiful historic building, next to the river in the old town. It's the best centre I have ever seen. From all the usual info, it also has photocopied lists of bus timetables, car hire companies, apartment rentals, and estate agents. Awesome! The Office was very friendly and helpful. She spoke English very well too. She gave me a map and circled all the main points to see on it. Definitely was worth the day trip to Girona from Barcelona to see the bridges, the wall, the houses and so much more. It is a lot of walking and very hilly so be prepared. Very and good English. This office offers a guided tour at a very reasonable price. The man who led the tour gave us a much deeper understanding of the citadel than the audio tour (we did both). Actually found the audio tour confusing compared to others we experienced in other towns. If you’re a dog lover, go see the statue of St Roch in the cathedral! We stayed in Girona for couple nights and went to centre to find contact to taxi to airport and there was a lovely girl with perfect English she couldn't do enough to help us. She booked taxi, gave us map and tips for surrounding areas. Extremely and polite absolutely lovely person. Thanks to that lovely lady we don't know her name but she lived in Scotland. Excellent service from several visits during a 4 night stay in the city. Especially with regional train times which we hadn't realised are not on the trainline website.
