Half the walk is by flooded Meadows in the winter/spring which completely dry out in the summer. The other half through beautiful Cork Oak woods. There are a couple of hides to watch the prolific birdlife, especially on the floods in winter (bring binoculars!) and a covered picnic spot where you can collect owl pellets to dissect later!
