Good place for a wander / dog / bike ride. It's not particularly big, so explorable in a couple of hours or so. Paths are good for cycling, either taking your own or hiring there. There is lots of for only £1 for the day which is very reasonable. There is also a in the visitors centre serving drinks and snacks, plus toilets, small play area and picnic benches. Lovely spot. Nature reserve. Walks, cycle and a visitor centre with and toilets. Easy access to £2 for a day and access for everyone. Friendly staff and lovely history of the barn with lots of walking and cycle routes. This is a really nature reserve with excellent playground facilities for the kids. The offers really cakes and coffee too. The gift shop has some interesting things that really capture the imagination. It's only £2 to park all day, offering great value. Lovely place to with and dog. We tried the well-being and it was funx Easy with and toilets. Network of surfaced paths made access easy for all. Felt like a well managed and safe place. Location by M25 meant lots of road noise, but hey... The centre has a little that's serves breakfasts and lunches. (Some background music in the would be nice) around the area, but shame about the M25 being so close... but after a while you get used to that. Very park in particular for the children to have a play. The stickman trail is fun and interactive for all and a opportunity to stretch your legs. The caffe was busy but looked like they cooked tasty food. 🥘 available but at a cost We decided to visit as they had a Stickman trail on, the activity pack from the visitor centre was a touch and had a good few bits in. We thought it would be actual figures of the stickman characters but it was only plaques with quotes and activity ideas on… The staff are very friendly and the playground is but not too big. Great for dog walking, and was cheap for £2 all day. Lots of toilets but today when visiting they had no soap at any of the sinks. The wellbeing walks are great for a troubled soul. You could get lost just walking and remembering. cost £2.00 for whole day. Great little place to go for a and take your dog. Lovely for families, it has a refreshment area and toilets, you can hire bikes too plus plenty of unless an event is on which then I would say get there early Wonderful with a brilliant friendly cafe. Love it! We like the chase. But please put a rubber edge on the missing corners of the outdoor table tennis table. The edges are VERY sharp and (incl my own) run near the table and it's at some head/face height. I don't want to see any accidents. I mentioned it to a staff member before outside but it still hasn't been fixed. On a positive the new play area is great 👍🏻 Love this place, comfy cafe, playground, great walks, nature at its best and for mobility issues you can hire a disability scooter. £2 for cars all day! Oh, you've hit the jackpot with that lunch! Let me paint a picture of this delightful experience. From the first bite to the last sip, it sounds like pure bliss. Imagine sinking your teeth into perfectly cooked eggs, their richness complemented by the salty, savory crunch of bacon and the juicy burst of flavor from those sausages. That combination alone is a classic for a reason, a symphony of textures and tastes that just works. But then you elevate it with a steaming mug of hot chocolate, not just any hot chocolate, but one generously topped with velvety cream and those little pockets of sugary joy – marshmallows. It's the perfect warm hug on a plate and in a cup, a sweet counterpoint to the savory goodness. And to top it all off, you mention the staff being "super personal." That's the secret ingredient that elevates a good meal to a truly memorable experience. Feeling welcomed and cared for by the people serving you makes everything taste even better. It sounds like this wasn't just a lunch; it was a little moment of warmth and connection in your day. Honestly, that sounds like the kind of lunch that leaves you feeling completely satisfied and with a smile on your face. Where was this little slice of heaven? I'm almost tempted to hop on a train to Upminster myself! Great trails and playground for the to run up and drown in and a really coffee shop. Park is lovely the, the not so much any more, slow service mess up the orders and think it is funny We love it here. Ideal for lazy walks, taking in the fresh air. The is good, although sometimes it's a bit of a wait for food. My littlen loves the playpark, which has recently been updated. Parking all day is only £2 It's a lovely place to visit and amongst the trees, I started going here in the early days when I was taller than many of the trees. It looks beautiful now and is full of wildlife. It has a play area for the and a with shop. I will be heading here again for the art exhibition that runs from September 1st to the 10th Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
