We booked for spa and hot tub (wellness) as a friend recommendation. We loved it and had no idea about this place. Staff were amazing, facilities were good and loved our there. Will definitely come back. Love this place! The makes it what it is great customer service, super friendly, they make you feel so comfortable. The is clean and absolutely gorgeous! Love the rituals they carry out! I did a Sauna ritual there a few months ago and OMG it was amazing! I come often to the wellness centre- it is so relaxing! Including this of year! Fireplace going, cold swim, sauna and hot tub! Just a great place to unwind. We recently visited Andrews during the school half-term after seeing it online. We thought it would be to take a look around, see what they had to offer, and possibly book some activities for the future. However, our was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, we were immediately approached by security, who asked what activity we had booked and at what time. After explaining that we hadn’t booked anything as we were just looking to explore and get a feel for the place, we were bluntly told that it was all private land and we couldn’t look around. It took about five minutes of back-and-forth discussion before the security guard finally let us park up and have a quick look—only after we pointed out that most people wouldn't book something without seeing it first. To our surprise, considering it was the school holidays, the place was practically empty. While we understand that the water may be cold this of year, we expected the other activities to be busier. The climbing area was very small, and the zip line looked underwhelming, barely extending over the water. What’s most frustrating is that nowhere on the website does it state that if you haven't booked an activity, you won’t be welcome on the site. Had this been made clear, we wouldn’t have wasted our visiting in the first place. Overall, between the unwelcoming attitude of the security and how lifeless the place felt, I’m extremely glad we visited before committing to any bookings. This has completely put us off, and we won’t be returning. Pains me to write a bad review for a place we love(d), we loved coming here for the spa and even started gifting our family and friends vouchers or money to spend here. to have somewhere local for an affordable spa session but until something goes wrong there was no reason to believe anything bad about this place. We ordered vouchers as a gift, £60 posted, £4 delivery just for a first class stamp... no tracked special service and obviously yes someone has stolen our vouchers. Cannot get hold of anybody, called about 10 times today, only 1 answer which I was told id receive a call back from Drew in 10 minutes... this was almost an hour ago now and cant get hold of anybody. Emailed as urgent as we dont want a thief using our money for their leisure. Sent a message on the facebook page.. was read and no answer. Despite saying how urgent this query was. Will think twice before we revisit. If we ever do. Disappointed and heart broken is an understatement. Zip line was awesome. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The are fantastic, so friendly, kind, and professional. We felt so welcome. Definitely would come back Got an the facilities you need too. Lots to do I visited the wellness centre today. I cannot it enough. All of the were all very lovely. I was so impressed with how clean all of the facilities were. Even the outdoor toilets smelt nice. The hot tub and sauna was lovely. We went in the evening and it was lit up beautifully. I can't wait to come back again We had wellness and bbq cabin party for my birthday. Everything was perfect. My guests were so pleased. Sauna is hot, clean and big enough for big company. very friendly. Bbq cabin has a bbq area inside with comfortable grill rest for grilling the food. Outside there are terrace with kitchen behind the cabin. Plates, glasses, cutlery are good quality and nice. Everything was prepared for our party and even sweet and compliment for the birthday party girl. Highly recommend! Svetlana Where do I start! I had the most at St Andrews from start to finish. Travelling 18 minutes outside of London (I couldnt believe it) this magical place transports your from the city to what feels like a place far away. It feels as if you are in a secluded part of Norway or potentially New Zealand. A truely unique in the UK. Arriving at the not wondering what to expect I was greeted by the most welcoming and who helped point me in the right direction for my activities. First stop was the zip line and ‘the drop’ which admittedly I was very nervous about. The talked me through it and gave me the confidence to take the leep of faith. What a thrill! I highly this activity. Second stop was at the cafe where I had a delicious sausage sandwich which gave me a huge dose of nostalgia from my childhood. The menu is great and caters for all dietary requirements. Finally, the wellness centre! After a large adrenaline dose from the zip line, I got to put my feet up in the hot tub and sauna and relax looking over the peaceful watching in amazement as swimmers go round and round despite the cool temperatures this of year. The combination of cold plunge in the and then straight into the sauna will make you feel good as new! I highly highly recommend. I honestly could not rate St Andrews Lakes high enough and I will certainly be coming back and hopefully with the opportunity to stay in one of the beautiful lodges on the lake 5* all round. We spent another relaxing day at this little stunning place enjoying the sunshine on an hot jacuzzi (41 degrees was the water temperature) . The weather was enjoyable as well as the company. You have to pre book quite in advance but they provided you car parking , 1,5 hours of to spend between many jacuzzi and the Sauna and (if you dare cause today the temperature was 5.5 degrees) even a quick swim. They also allow upon request to get some food delivered from the nearby cafe, and today we went for a delicious Italian style pizza and chips. The perfect Sunday! Great on the lake, everyone was friendly, the cafe super and the hot tubs hot! We can’t wait to come back again. The only downside is the lack of dogs, it would be super if they allowed them on the beach at set times of the day and at the campsite. Maybe one day! Everything was amazing! 100/100 The lodge was very nice, cozy, compact and modern. Definitely recommend. We had our own cozy hot tub when heated was perfect. The view as spectacular also, the layout is very aswell. Definitely coming back! Our overnight stay on the view plot was absolutely fantastic! The went above and beyond to make our enjoyable, and the zip wire and drop were truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for an adventure filled getaway! I cannot this place enough! Lovely place, clean facilities and the all lovely, polite and went above and beyond for us! We celebrated my Son's 16th birthday here and each and every aspect was superb! All were so and welcoming. The BBQ cabin was the icing on the cake and had been decorated for us on arrival! Nothing was too much trouble. I 100% visiting. We will definitely be back! Despite the grey, cold, wet weather, it was well worth the stay! The summer activities were not in action, but if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in winter, with a personal hot tub, definitely consider going here. We stayed at the fishing lodge and I did not want to leave! We had a wonderful time. The location is secluded and tranquil watching the wildlife was amazing. The service was absolutely superb. Laura is brilliant nothing was a problem for her, it was a pleasure to meet her. This is a must stay and a fantastic place. We will definitely return.
