The restaurant and bar a great, but they also have two accommodation blocks and I stayed in a lovely room with ensuite and a small balcony. We felt very welcomed here, in this pension and restaurant run by a local family and their staff. Quiet, clean and spacious rooms, honest and hearty cuisine, good beers. We stayed here with my boyfriend and parents before our month long journey from the most eastern point of Slovakia to the most western point (only me and my boyfriend are going, my parent only drove us to Nová Sedlica). The accommodation was very cosy, we had two bedrooms and small kitchen, shower and toilet for ourselves. The lady in the hotel was very friendly and tried to help us with everything we needed. For example, we needed to start the hike as soon as possible in the morning and she made us breakfast around 6:15am instead of 7am, which was the official breakfast time. All in all we had really good time before our difficult challenge. All 4 of us definitely recommend this hotel for accommodation in (or near) Nová Sedlica. The location was great, and the rooms were comfortable and very reasonably priced. The food, too, was terrific. Best of all, though, was the staff. The husband and wife team who run the pension and restaurant, Mr and Mrs. Michaleovi, were friendly, warm, and helpful. The young man who tends the bar was very nice, too. They all provided excellent service. I highly recommended this place. Can't say anything about the accommodation, since I didn't stay here, but the restaurant is truly amazing! Plenty of vegetarian options, I loved the fried cheese, potato pancakes and pierogi. The option to pay by bank transfer was a life-saver for two oblivious hikers with no EUR in cash. The opening hours are somewhat mysterious, even if the sign says they're open until 9pm on weekdays, the establishment closes early if there's not much action, so coming in at 8.30pm can be risky.
