Beautiful lake. You can go from the to the through the forest (paths are laid) or along the asphalt road. The around the takes half an hour. You can also rent a boat. The area is clean, there is a cafe and a toilet. Saint Ana in Romania is a true gem! This natural wonder left me in awe with its pristine beauty and tranquil surroundings. The emerald waters nestled within the ancient volcanic crater create a breathtaking sight. Hiking around the offers stunning vistas of the lush forests, and the serene atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. The well-maintained trails make exploration a delight, and the informative signage adds to the experience. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a photographer, or simply seeking a peaceful escape, Saint Ana is a must-visit destination. Its untouched charm and soothing ambiance easily earn it a five-star rating in my book. I've got no words to describe it! It's an amazing place! Just have a look of the pictures on Google! Unique in Europe! This is an absolute gem close to Braşov. Only an hours drive from the city this stunning is picture perfect. You park on the top and down through the trees. The itself is so pretty takes about 20 minutes. The is pristine and calm. You can around the lake. We choose to just relax on the benches next to it. In terms of activities there is boating available but we didn’t do it. The back is uphill and can be challenging if you have mobility issues. Please avoid the cafe at the top near the parking. It’s very expensive and the service is terrible ! A lovely and very peaceful place. You can park your car on top of the mountain by a camping place. You then have to down a windy for about 30 min. We believe to have found traces of bears on this road- they tried to eat the plastic white milestones. The is surrounded by thick forest and only becomes visible once you get very close. In addition to enjoying the view and the clean air, you can also row in a small boat or take a group tour for decent rates. On the banks of the there are a few snack bars where you can buy the famous local Kurtos Kolacs (baked sweet doe with cinnamon and walnuts). You can also find coffee and refreshments. Great spot to spend some quiet time!! The nature is spectacular and the 1km from the lot is done on the and is totally worth it! Easier to go to the then coming back, bexause of the hill. The is not bad, as other reviews stated, not even for a sport car. The fee though, is kind of expensive!! The fall is awesome and the view is breath taking! The place is amazing. The drive there is stunning, the winding roads between the tree's are fantastic and the quality of the is also good. Until you reach the you can make a few stops along the way, you can have watter from a few natural springs. The for the first 3 hours is 40 lei which is about 8.15 euro. There are 2 ways to go to the lake. One is on the car and the other one is starting right at the first left tun on the car and it takes you straight through the forest. You have 1 nice view point from the forest that you can see a part of the and finally you will reach the and have a wooden pathway which is nice for pictures. Taking a right you have a path that will take you around the right next to the edge of it. Also you may have a wistle with you because the area is known to be passed by bears. Enjoy your inside the middle of the nature and keep your eyes open and you will be safe. Please do no litter and if possible if you have a bag with you or if you have your hands free please pick up as much garbage as you can. Thank you for keeping everything as you found it. There are 2 routes, from the lot down to the lake: one is on the main, paved road. The other is through the woods, on a designated route. Also, around the you can take a hike, it is possible. the itself is beautiful, but I didn't like that the to the is very bad, full of potholes, and when you get there you notice that they closed the public with a barrier and you have to pay 10 euros for a few hours of if you want to visit the and you have to about 2 km to the lake. for a young person it is not difficult, but for the elderly it is very difficult since this is on a slope. Nice place in the nature! Be careful on the bears. Do not feed or try to play with them.(pictures was taken from the car when leaving the lake) Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
