This is a man-made which more accurately serves as a flood control reservoir and is encompassed by forest and moorland. Biking and hiking trails are available for citizens of an "energetic" disposition or fishing may be an option for those who prefer a more "relaxed" visit. An exquisitely designed twenty two metre high watchtower has recently been constructed nearby and offers superb views of the surrounding area, appreciably enhanced of course when viewing through field glasses! Educational trail goes around the lake, where you can learn a lot about this nature reserve, the local flora and fauna. You can go there by car, or by bus number 46. It's a small but a great one. A nice destination to bike out to because there's a bike road leading to this place. You can even eat some ice cream or a pancake here if you like. It also has some hike paths nearby so it is a nice destination to escape the city for a while. Very peaceful place, you can fishing here but don't be hopeful :) Tranquil on the outskirts of Budapest with a new observation tower. Pleasant for a short walk or for some bird watching.
