Should cater for ALL. I saw "Money for Nothing" Dire Straits Tribute band and loved it. The acoustics are pretty now. My only gripe would be the lack of outside the Concert Hall. People turn up early so they need somewhere to sit. I come here once a year for the healing festival and the place is clean inside and out. Plenty of toilets and seating. Has a bar with some options. Prices are reasonable. Seems to have lots going on throughout the year so definitely worth a check to see what's coming up. There is no parking on site apart from a couple of disabled places but plenty of paid parking available nearby. Such a fabulous for live music. Saw Paul Weller here on 4/4/24 and it was utterly magic. size to be big enough for a crowd but yet still managing to be intimate enough that no matter where you are you have a view. It has a fabulous floor too!!! It moves!!! With everyone jumping and dancing you could actually feel the motion and it heightened all the fun and drama, truly magical place. Toilets were a little on the small side for the amount of people but the queue for these even at peak times wasn't too bad and the bar was very fast service. I'll be keeping an eye on future events here for sure. Friendly staff and seats with slightly more leg room than some theatres. Once again a fantastic panto with Chris Jarvis and Co. London symphonic rock orchestra, an experience to say the least. performance and atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent / concert hall, especially for a town as small as is Poole. Attended a superb Christmas concert by Bournemouth orchestra and choirs I went to the Lighthouse, to see a Brit Floyd concert, it was fabulous, the Concert hall was packed, visual and sound was first class, and I would go again. Loved this 'and' it was a night of comedy into the bargain! I come from Brisbane in Queensland Australia, and quite a few years ago they created a new "Cultural Centre" that was absolutely beautiful and it definitely rekindled the interest in all the arts as a result. The Lighthouse really surprised me. It was equal to and better in many ways, to the cultural centre I mentioned earlier. The variety of shows, combined with an excellent restaurant, top class bar, brilliant transport links and a really fabulous and relaxed environment - plus - the service of well trained and courteous staff "and" importantly, very reasonable prices. Well, what more can I say? As a matter of fact there is one more thing though. With such a and staff, it'd be bl**dy criminal if we didn't support these guys for what they do.. Therefore, throw away the remote for a night, visit and enjoy Poole.. It has lovely Christmas lights and decorations at the moment,make sure to drop into the lighthouse to pick up their free comprehensive itinerary for the coming months as well- I promise, you'll be so glad you did! With both Poole and the theatre, then the parking, transport and fabulous staff, you really can't go wrong here. 11 stars out of 10 Well done! & thanks! Large, varied offering different spaces. The main has comfortable and wide, not too steep steps to the seating. Brilliant, Dick Whittington Panto, just as you want it, a mix of mostly live and recorded music and jokes for the kids and the same for bigger kids too. A show and a really nice theater, very cosy and up close. Went to see a stand up and found the acoustics were tinny. No cloak room service was a bit of a shock as I was hoping to check in some clothes shopping from earlier in the day. The on- site restaurant was really pleasant and the food looked good. I came here for the London African Gospel Choir singing Paul Simon's 1986 album Graceland, but re-imagined. What a fantastic evening. Gospel hymns and then the Graceland album. Music, song, movement, dance... Everything. A wonderful night. Thank you! A with really acoustics, the bar is well priced £2.80 for a coffee, plenty of parking opposite as well as a bus termial, I've seen the Bournemouth symphony orchestra 3 times there and really enjoyed each performance, I'm looking forward to plenty more shows there Fantastic evening out. Lovely intimate theatre. Well planned that I could see well without my view being obstructed by someone tall in front. The has different theatres and some very entertainment. Have seen several shows here now and never been disappointed. Lovely cinema. Comfy, clean seats, view. But £12 for a glass of wine at the bar?? I think the Lighthouse is forgetting its in Poole town centre and not London! Really took the edge off our much-needed mum's evening out.😔 Saw Blood Brothers - was outstanding. Lovely venue. bar and chill out areas. Lovely and clean. Downside (so 4 stars) - Seats don’t have much leg room, but fitted my 34” legs. Can’t squeeze past people so up and down during seating. That’s ok but demonstrates the narrowness of the rows. As a local we've been coming here for years. There's always something to come and enjoy, as a family or a grown up evening! There's a size bar area and lots of parking near by. We've had lots of nights here and their website is easy to navigate. We arrived early for the show & sat in the cafe bar area downstairs with drinks. Staff very helpful, nice ambiance as it was busy with people having a pre-show meal.
