It is very nice to visit the place, be a little bit earlier to be able to take your ticket and enjoy enough time while the Cascada is on. Be ready to be overwhelmed by the water. You can enjoy a hike near the and take very nice pictures. Pretty impressive place it is better to come on the schedule and to climb up to see all the place it is like a small iguasu series of waterfall, the largest one being really massive and impressive. Well maintained paths! Can get very wet, slippery and muddy so wear appropriate clothing. We went here in winter and it was really cool but it is probably absolutely stunning in summer or spring! Crowded, expensive, touristy. is but you’ll have to get in line and wait Very nice experience, with different routes available and different levels of difficulty so anyone can enjoy a good view of the falls. Amazing waterfalls… The adult ticket is 12€. When flow is at its lowest, the rocks can be seen through the falls. Prior to the flow being fully reopened, a long siren sounds! Nice (in case there is 😂). The release schedules you find online are not matching with the actual schedules. In the main ticket office to the areas (upper and lower) they provide you with the accurate times. situation (for the lower sector) is very stressful. If you plan to walk on the paths to the water, have a raincoat or at least some dry clothes to change with you. Be aware that the tracks to the waterfalls are slippery and maybe not save for little kids. The 2 viewpoints opposite the (entry to the hotel at the valley street) on the hill, are better than the one from the lower area. Also the upper viewpoint is worth the effort to drive there. All three main entrances (2 lower, 1 upper) are included in the basic ticket for 12€. comes extra with about 4€/2h Amazing waterfalls. Artificial made by the Romans. park. We started at the top. We arrived at 10 o clock. Waterfalls starts at 11 o clock. We walked down to 1, 2, 4 and back to the top. Cascata delle Marmore is a breathtaking mix of natural power and Roman engineering. The roaring falls, scenic trails, and magical mist make it unforgettable. A must-see for nature lovers and travelers alike 12 euros to see an artificial is defined not something I would pay for, and btw, you can have a nice view of the falling (not a real waterfall, remember) from below. And don’t forget the parking, it’s paid of course Speechless 🫶🏻…amazing place if you love to see the beauty of nature. Good area good behaviour from the staffs. If you dont love much crowdness you can go in between June orJuly.❤️ exceptional experience that deserves a bit of outside advertising, we got to know about it from a local friends. easy to get to, spectacular views and a bit of a workout to return :-) the butterfly house worth seeing, too! Absolutely breathtaking and worth the trip. There are paths that make it fairly easy to walk up to view the various (you will get wet!). The temperature drops ten degrees when you reach the lot, which is an incredible treat in summer. Be sure to stay to see the turn off at 1pm or back on again at 3. Plenty of parking. The bus terminal is a little tricky to find in Terni. It’s not the main Terni station but is around the corner to the left after you walk out the front entrance of the station. There’s a dedicated shuttle just for the falls, but pay attention to times, or you’ll end up needing a taxi to get back to Terni (speaking from experience!). The tallest artificial watetfall in the world! A beautiful, unconventional place – created by human intervention, yet so natural. It's worth devoting more time to exploring and hiking the entire trail, rather than just admiring the views from the upper terrace. The man made are off the normal tour map but very when running. Check their schedule before going so you see the in action. That is hard if you only speak English because their website is not English friendly. Nice walk to the falls. Wonderful mist on a hot day. Good amenities. We arrived half an hour before the flow was reduced substantially. I would recommend going about it the opposite way. The timetable for on and off periods is difficult to find online. 12€ per adult It is just beautiful,. We set for 1.5h , but we sure did needed more. Got to the first 3 spots there, all the way down. Luckily we packed some snacks and fruits 😋 bc there is a lovely view point right in front of the waterfall. So beautiful!! Unfortunately we came a bit late, at 15:30, 30 minutes before the are shut down for the day. It’s nice to stroll through the park regardless. But the park was closed entirely by 17:00, so I would advise to plan the visit time better than we did. Very place (that is also extremely well organized). Consult the waterfalls’ opening schedule before going. If going in the hot season there will be lots of people, so make sure to book a in advance. Free in the zone is almost nonexistent. And be prepared to get wet if you want to wander to the streams. Well organised park with paths for all abilities, the easiest of which go right by the water. Plenty of services inside and just outside the park, plenty of that can be booked in advance. The waterfalls are spectacular and you can get very close. Ideal for a day out in nature, perfect to stay cooler on very hot summer days.
