One of the Best Places To Visits in Zalahaláp Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Mire véget ért a termelés a 80-as években, az eredetileg 358 méteres magasságú hegy 291 méteresre csökkent. Kulonleges atmoszferaju hely! Autoval a patkolokbol konnyen megkozelitheto. Mar innen pazar kilatas tarul elenk. Informacios tablak, csodas viragok varnak fent. Mindenkepp erdemes ellatogatni ide! Okay this is one less popular part of the whole Balatonfelvidék area, even I just discovered it on the map accidentally but I didn't regret it. Nice views above the hill. It's trail is short and easy. Benches and table can be found also great for snacking and resting. Very nice, easy walk around the top of this weird hill. I mean its top was destroyed due to basalt mining, so the hill is truncated. This educational trail demonstrates the basalt, the use cases, the mining and the surrounding flora and fauna I really liked it. It has effort put into it and it shows. It's not the greatest realization of a learning trail, but it's definitely the cutest one I've seen. Even though it's a short one, we spent 3 hours backtracking there because we wanted to see every little part of it. There are info tables scattered around with many interesting information. Not deducting points for it because I don't know the background (although I am curious) but the place is full of random wooden sculptures that go from random trough ugly to ???. This trail is a hidden gem, well worth a visit. From the car park, if you turn right at the barrier, there is a shortcut to the plateau (former mining area) which is suitable for the sturdier buggies as well. For the actual trail you need to turn left at the barrier - it is not that even, but still manageable even with kids, and that will also lead you to the plateau. From there you need to climb a bit (steep steps!) to the all-around viewpoint, but it is breathtaking so well worth it :) The info points are only available in Hungarian though :( Also I would not recommend this trip on a hot summer day as there is no shadow on the plateau at all. Páratlan panoráma Great place to take photos.
