One of the Best Places To Visits in Wygiełzów Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Było zamkniete I really enjoyed visiting the Museum of Western Lesser Poland in Wygiełzów. What stood out the most were the authentic environments and the chance to see original tools and objects from the period — not replicas, but real pieces of everyday from the past. Walking through the old wooden houses and farm buildings felt like stepping into a different century. Everything is arranged with care, and you really get a sense of how people lived, worked, and organized their world in rural Małopolska. The atmosphere is peaceful, the surroundings are beautiful, and the whole place feels genuinely preserved rather than staged. If you enjoy open-air museums, history, or simply seeing how used to be in this region, this is definitely worth the visit. Highly recommended! Posto sinceramente raccomandato. An excellent muse of everyday life. Good exhibits and the open-air museum itself. You can see how grandmothers and great-grandmothers lived, in what conditions. The exhibits are in very good condition. You walk around the historical village and you can fully imagine how they lived in ancient times. There is an excellent inclusive playground for chdren. You can reserve a grill area. The grill area is well thought out, with light and a roof, as well as sockets and a luxurious grill. Even a day won’t be enough in this museum). I’ll be back! Very interesting to see the of in the past. Untortunately, the restaurant was closed. It is worth a visit. Odnowione częściowo ruiny. Super widok z wieży. Polecam kupienie biletu i zobaczenie od środka. Nice museum with a few interesting houses and other buildings and items from the past. The smell in the buildings is amazing as well as the sound of the trees in the wind - you can almost feel like being in the XIX century again. Very enjoyable couple of hours wandering around some homes of yesteryear. Set in well maintained grounds, will lots to see. The main house is well presented with some very original pieces of furniture. Some of the exhibits are interactive to give you a sense of what it was originally like to live then One for good weather not bad. Staff were professional and courteous In comparison to other similar museums this was small and ignorantly filled with modern architecture (curbed gravel paths, lamps, modern garden furniture, children playgrounds). It did no have any atmosphere like other skansens do. Everything in polish only, staff doesn't speak English. I wouldn't recommend to visit, as other similar places we've visited were much more interesting (one near Opole for example). Beautiful historic village with lovely preserved buildings from all over the region, highly recommend! There are 2 parts. Muzeum devoted to folk crafts itself and recreated wooden village around it. You can freely walk around and learn how various traditional Polish homes look both inside and outside. There's also a church and small corner local firefighter history. After exploring the majestic ruins of Zamek Lipowiec, we wandered into the charming world of the Skansen in Wygiełzów 🌿. It felt like stepping back in time—so many beautifully preserved wooden houses, each filled with fascinating exhibits that tell the story of rural in Małopolska. From cozy cottages to old workshops, every corner had something to discover. Loved the peaceful vibe and the feeling that time had slowed down just for us. Great castle to visit. Impressive history of this picturesque place. Great condition, still getting renovated but there is no need to wait till until completion. Biggest skansen I've seen anywhere in Poland. Very well-maintained and by Polish standards lots of written explanations Nice for family visits with kids, but parking is a challenge. Several XVIII century country houses where you can enter and see daylife objects and tools from the time. There's also a typical restaurant in the premises and a medieval castle close by (15-20 min walking uphill) Super miejsce by pokazac dziecia jak żyli nasi pradziadkowie, jaka była bieda i jak trudne mieli warunki w porównaniu do dzisiejszych czasów. Polecam muzeum w formie osady z replika pałacu super miejsce It is a relatively small skansen museum, but covers most of the village features. Ideal for kids (playground included) and young teenagers to increase their awareness of old village life, if they are interested. Nice layout and landscaping (in summer). You can also visit a castle nearby.
