Beautiful that I've been attending for 7 years before the Covid pandemic stopped this streak in 2021. Coming back this year I saw the changed. Naturally, I changed as well and came to Yaga with my 2,5 years old son. Many things were different. The amount of people felt like record breaking and 3 times more than what I remember. We had trouble getting in and waited for 1,5 hours in the car for the 2nd parking to be prepared because the first one was full at 5 pm on Friday. We had to queue for water for 20-30 minutes. We couldn't find a spot to camp that would have tolerable noise level. Even the camper area felt loud. We found a relatively silent area just to be covered by a wall of sound from a performance that stated at midnight in a middle of a campsite 🤷‍♂️ later on the main stage and Trance stage kept sending bass waves our way until 5 in ths morning. Music is good. We go to festivals for music. However in my mind Yaga always had a haven for families and this year felt like it didn't. I miss vegetarian food. Food selection caters to peoole of the big city with sushis, burritos, burgers, pizzas, pilafs, borscht, fish and chips...you name it. I found Volfas Engelman on tap leaving a sour taste in my mouth after all the doing-business-in-Russia scandals. It was dispointing that deposit was not returned to anyone before Sunday. Neither of these things are necessary a bad thing. I mean... Look at the crowds! I, however, left with a sore feeling that the I adored for so many years is now replaced with something else. I'm not sure I like it. 👍 A really good place to find inner peace, make new friends and have a good time. There's enaugh of activities for everyone, wide variety of electronic music, tasty food and chai. The forrest it's happening at is very beautiful and peaceful. You definitely should come and see for yourself. Amazing location where an open air takes place each year. YAGA is the biggest in Lithuania. There is a special and magical atmosphere there.
