Lovely experience we had with my family! There are plenty of animals, birds, sitting areas, and a few play areas for children. Such a beautiful zoo, beautiful animals, some of which we saw for the first time, although I often visit different parks. They have a lot of pelicans, so only the part where there are a lot of them has a slightly unpleasant smell, but that is normal for the places where they live. The museum is impressive! We were delighted both young and old with a wonderful exhibition of insects, something that really fascinated us. It's a shame that the entrance to the museum is not included, but the entrance to the park, because we saw that many people gave up just to avoid buying another ticket, and it's worth every cent. So educational, nice shade, playgrounds. The minus point just because the toilet which still has squats tolilets, which is very difficult for children, and the restaurant, which didn't really have much choice, looked quite neglected. Very nice place. The are feeling well as I've seen and kept mostly in good conditions. I've been left with a bitter taste in my mouth after visiting this because I haven't been convinced that the kept here are being given enough living space and care. Some don't have a companion to share their life with. Many, if not all, species of bird don't have enough space to fly. Other cages, instead, are crowded to such an extent that the could be overheard ferociously fighting with one another several times in a couple hours. Bees and wasps plague the place. They feast over the food that should be destined to the kept in the cage, and are a danger for and visitors alike. A young child was stung in front of me during my visit. A large majority of the purposely take shelter in the most remote corner of their cages, showing clear signs of being stressed by the human visitors being allowed to approach their "homes" at such close distance. All in all, it feels like there are way too many species for this place. This, together with the long opening hours, the cages and other details, leave the distinctive impression that the entire focus of this is on pleasing the visitors instead of the guests. Even after looking at the website, it's mostly unclear what is being done to concretely support reintroduction of to their native environment. This is particularly concerning for those species advertised as being endangered by human activity. It would be helpful to clearly explain how this fits the bigger picture of conservation and also justify at an individual level the presence of each and every in this park: why they are here? where do they come from? Are there plans to reintroduce them in nature? If no, why? What are the plans for improving their quality of life? Being honest about current limitations would also help showing visitors that the well-being of the is kept in high regard even when practical reasons might require some temporary compromise for a short while. The entrance fee is a little expensive, but worth it. I can see that in the layout of the premises with glass walls separating you from the animal. Makes for very good photos. As previous posts have stated, lots of shade, picnic style tables to sit on and playgrounds for kids. I saw I have never seen before. Not sure if it was a light day with the amount of people, but it wasn’t crowded at all. This is a nice treasure of a place. Ok, and simple. Surely it's almost empty during the weekdays and very busy on the weekend but it's still very enjoyable. I love it. But it looks human experience is the main focus, rather than the walfare. The cages are way too and appear in distress. It would be better to have less variety and give more space to each. Great zoo with plenty of trees providing shadow and not very busy even during holiday weekends. Specializes on endangered species. Only downside was limited offer of food in bistro. Mostly shaded which was nice because it was quite hot. Several play areas and picnic areas. Fun for the whole family. it was brilliant we loved all the cats, birds and the camels the museum was brilliantly made with the best sculptures ive ever seen the food was good and there was loads of places for children to play and the toilets were clean loved the visit from freddie and mimi Ho visitato il Parco con mio marito e la mia nipotina di 2anni. Temperatura perfetta, tanti bambini (scolaresche) e il tempo trascorso è stato prezioso per gli occhi e per l'anima. Tranquillità, è la parola perfetta, per esprimere quello che si prova, in tutti i bellissimi percorsi incontrati e molto puliti. Siamo rimasti tutto il giorno, visitarlo con i bambini è davvero una gioia infinita. La vera ricchezza è questa, non esistono foto che possano esprimere l'esperienza fantastica che ti porti nel cuore. Complimenti veramente a tutto il personale. La visita è risultata molto piacevole, adatta sia alle famiglie che ai gruppi di amici. L'unica nota lievemente negativa è la mancanza di felini di grossa taglia come leoni o tigri, a differenza della presenza di altre specie come linci; sono comunque presenti numerose specie di rettili, uccelli e mammiferi. Ho trascorso tre ore piacevoli, con ampie aree dedicate al pic-nic. Consiglio vivamente una visita, soprattutto nelle ore mattutine, quando gli animali sono più attivi, godendo di un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, in una giornata climaticamente ottimale.
