Despite the getting busy during peak season, it never feels too overcrowded, and the family-friendly atmosphere is a big plus. The views are breathtaking, and the amenities are top-notch. Sections of the are nice and photogenic, but overall this is a bunch of questionable touristy restaurants, generic bakery shops and LOTS of private accomodation options right on the beach. Motorbikes and deliveries use the promenade to bypass traffic. Architecturally, everything is horrendeous. Several hige hotels are right on the waterfront. Less chaotic than Makarska, but that is not saying much. The perfect lo action. Parking spaces are not enough. Parking lots are located outside the town and are very expensive. 20-25 euros/day. Very crowded beach.
