Spent 3 nights during work training. Peaceful place, incredible food nice and simple rooms with very comfortable beds and soft sheets. There were plenty of open bars on multiple spots. They have stables with horses that you can (respectfully) pet and even ride. Also, mountain bikes, arrows and many more games. It's ideal for a retreat. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy these facilities as our work and social schedule was intense, but would be a great retreat. Only caveat was that my room was next to the washing up area, and you can hear a bit of noise, which for those who sleep lightly can be an issue. The hosts are very accommodating. Overall, a good place if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. This is truely a gem. The entire resort is held the old colonial style with the creature comforts bought up to a comfortably modern level. The food is excellent and the main dining room is large enough, to house a party of considerable size, but still cosy and not really noisy. There are free use of all the facilities, including mountainbikes, horses, swimmingpool, pool table and game rooms gazebo, fridges all over the place and stocked liquor cabinets. There is also a nice bar with karaoke if that is your fancy. The grounds are beautiful and you can spend as much time exploring the surrounding hills/ mountain trails as you would like. A fantastic place for workshops and teambuilding with great facilities for fun afterwards. Great place to be for a meeting with colleagues from all over the world for 3 days. How can I stay in such a place on private please? The staff was outstanding. The food was plentiful and delicious. The rooms were warm and inviting. Overall it was very comfortable. 4 stars because no health/fitness facilities (they are building now and it will be a wonderful and needed addition). If we visited in warmer weather, we would have had the pool (very pretty!) and bikes to use. But it was cool and rainy so a fitness room would have been appreciated. Another note, for your planning: I wanted to take a day trip to Madrid and the price was $165 Euro, one way - I was hoping to sight see for a day. Be aware if you want to go to Madrid it will be pricey. I hiked the mountain, which was quick and peaceful. A good little stretch for my legs. The dogs and horses are very friendly. The proprietors were very attentive and helpful. The improvements currently being made will surely make it a 5star experience for everyone who visits! Best seminar experience! Feeling at home.
