Hard to believe our was 10 years old, felt and looked brand new, spotless, spacious and very comfortable all furniture looked and felt new, all modern cons, very secure, roof top pool shared with only a few other apartments (only saw two other people use it besides ourselves) downside the home entertainment system didnt work, otherwise 5* would have been in order. Booked an Airbnb top floor just behind The Real Marina Hotel, lovely clean place, modern but full of character pieces. Would definitely stay here again. Lovely host. Some parts of the town look a little derelict but the people here are so colourful you almost don't notice. Olhão is close to Algarve, less than an hour drive to some of the most beautiful beaches I've seen. It's less touristy than the other towns but still worth a look. The fruit and veg and fish markets are impressive and probably the biggest I've ever seen with an insane variety of fresh locally grown/caught produce. The market was great and the shops behind the restaurant are beautiful hidden treasures. Google Rua do Comércio and it'll take you to the street with the shops. I got lost and confused because of all the little side roads so this would have been a great tip. I found some really beautiful, well priced items which cost more else where. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko sklepy lokalne oraz np Lidl,blisko targ rybny, restauracje ,marina ,15 minut spacerem od labiryntu,wąskich urokliwych uliczek w których jakby czas się zatrzymał.Basen nieduzy na dachu skąd roztacza się przepiękny widok,miło było tam łapać promyki słońca . Mieszkanie nienaganne dwa pokoje ,dwie łazienki ,dobrze wyposażona kuchnia.Zestawy ręczników, kosmetyków suszarka do włosów na plus Niestety z przykrością muszę odjąć gwiazdkę w apartamencie ślady czarnej pleśni ...🫤 Eine gute Appartementanlage Diese ist gepflegt und wie beschrieben vorgefunden Unsere Wohnung ist groß und sauber gewesen Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit Uns hat es gefallen Great view We rented an here from a private owner. Absolute loved it. It's well placed and not too touristy. A car is a must have in my opinion. The only gripe I would have is the towels provided were too small and not enough of them. Also not enough cooking utensils I.e. baking trays and a useable frying pan. Die Wohnung war schön und gut klimatisiert. Aber wir mussten einige Dinge noch besorgen, z.B. Toilettenpapier, Spültücher etc. Auch Handtücher für den Pool wären angebracht. Außerdem ein paar mehr Liegen und Stühle (die vorhandenen sahen schmuddelig aus)! Der Pool selbst ist max 1 m tief. Beim Blick vom Balkon sah man Abrisshäuser und viele Baustellen. Auch wäre es schön, wenn der Platz um die Anlage herum begrünt wäre. Brand new sports harbour in the authentic town of Olhao. In front of modern appartment complex with top terras and pools. Best place to stay in East Algarve Room spacious, bed very comfortable and great facilities. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to have more space then a hotel room and wants to be right in the action. The view from my was fabulous.
