I thought this would be Portuguese but very much British food and British prices in a beautiful area :-). Wouldn’t come for the food anymore… location, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. The burger was really good. Not cheap like all places in quinta do lago :-) , but definitely nice. Food is of quality and portions also. Music is always a plus here making you feel real good. Probably my favourite spot in Quinta do Lago for a nice and relax lunch. Lovely location and facilities. The staff were fantastic. Food is average, but you don't come for the food. Child and dog friendly and if you're lucky you might see a famous footballer or 2. I can't fault The Shack. We visit this place every year. The atmosphere is fantastic. Their service is excellent. Today, we just had ice cream. Normally we have a meal. It has fantastic outdoor seating with music. Amazing food with Plenty of options for a pub style restaurant. Very friendly staff. Service is a bit slow, but, understandable since its full. The street parking was full and I Imagine it gets quite hectic. Steating area in the sand is amazing for some finger food and drinks. Atmosphere is simply amazing. Very nice place. atmosphere. Nice staff. The tables/chairs at the restaurant need a renovation. It's a wonderful spot in Quinta do Lago. Highly recommend. Awesome place, views, and food. Chose your timing wisely as they get very busy. Before 10am for breakfast is normally ok ( I found any way). Breakfast menu till 11.30am, then lunch menu. Bereits sehr touristische Preise. I ordered a salmon and avocado salad for around 20 euros, and the salad had brown avocados! I spoke to the manager, and she argued with me that this is normal. Live music on some evenings. Chill out/rustic eatery with super atmosphere. Loved it, spot to hang out for drinks, no reservations for food so first come first served, got a table and the food quality and service was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Shack, highly recommended 💯 An enjoyable experience. A busy, bustling place on the lake - so in demand. Service was efficient and friendly and food was varied and appreciated. Cocktails were good. Booked the sunbeds which are lovely. Staff are very slow to respond to buzzer for drinks though and probably miss out on a lot of sales as a result. The food is fantastic however and worth visiting for that alone. Lots of watersports activities available via Arturs on the lake. The staff is amazing here we had Gina and she was a rockstar and Rachael at the front handles all the people with such a smile. The food is ok but the crew is so and the space is so beautiful it makes up for the food. easy going restaurant right on the beach & overlooking the water. Went for lunch & dinner, both meals were very tasty and a price. Highly recommended 👍 The Shack is a spot in Quinta. The menu is a bit limited for main meals but the standard was very good. We had breakfast several times and the granola bowl was outstanding! Nice place for brunch/lunch and is dog friendly. Had a day at The Shack. Check in and arrival was smooth and the rest of day continued that way. Drinks and food are served to your sun bed, which was all very tasty, and they put on live music from 3pm (check dates before booking). All in all it was a day out, we had lots of fun, and we would definitely return. Beautiful lakeside setting with food and chilled background music that sets the mood. The menu is casual but well-executed, making it ideal for a relaxed lunch or a sunset cocktail. A must-visit in Quinta do Lago Cool Ate here twice last week on holiday and the food was each time! Atmosphere and location was 10/10. Definitely recommend the chicken quesadillas and the shack sauce to dip the chips is amazing! Muy buen servicio Ambundante las porciones .
