Wow!! What a beautiful, quiet and tranquil place we have just returned from. Incredibly dog friendly which is the biggest bonus for us and plenty of dog walks all round. Plenty of wildlife around which was great to see roaming free all round. Easy contactless check in upon arrival and drive down from the main gates with beautiful scenery. The was perfectly clean, well stocked and well laid out. Great connection on the TV for cast to your own devices so was able to snuggle up with a film on our own Netflix. The bed was incredibly comfortable, very large and very clean. Hot tub was bubbling away and water. Great to see them cleaning out on the day of departure too shows practices are thorough! Absolutely amazing for stargazing at night when the skies are clear and no light pollution. Well located to nearby Peterborough and a 45 min drive to Cambridge. I would absolutely return Amazing place! My partner booked this for my birthday, and it’s definitely at the top of our list! We love a good hot tub, and this one was great! It was very powerful and clean. We would definitely come back! This is our 5th visit and always in the same it's in a location peaceful, bright and airy. There was one very small gripe this time that the mattress on the main bed one side had a big dip in and ideally needs replacing but apart from that amazing ..hot tub bubbling and so warm cabin extreamly will be back Rockingham Forest Park – Loyalty Means Nothing Here I have visited Rockingham Forest Park more than ten times over the years, and until now, I have always recommended it as a relaxing and family-friendly escape. Sadly, this most recent visit has shown just how little loyalty means to them and how badly they fail when it comes to genuine customer service. When I raised a complaint about another guest blasting offensive music — complete with explicit, unsuitable lyrics — I expected the staff to step in, especially given the “family-friendly” image they push. Instead, I was brushed off with a patronising, template-like email that effectively told me to confront the guests myself, or simply wait until 11 pm before they would even consider intervening. In other words, if you’re here with children, you just have to tolerate the noise and inappropriate language all day long. This isn’t “policy,” it’s abdication of responsibility, when I asked to be moved away from the disruption and was ignored. Their idea of “help” is to press a button after hours and hope a maintenance worker eventually shows up. No accountability, no action, and no respect for paying guests. It is insulting to dismiss the comfort and safety of long-term, repeat visitors with such a lazy, copy-and-paste excuse. Rockingham Forest Park clearly values disruptive guests over loyal families, and their customer service is nothing short of disgraceful. After over ten stays here, I will not be returning. If you are looking for peace, respect, or even basic hospitality, look elsewhere. We had a and cannot recommend it more for the price - the is well furnished and thought out with all home comforts and the hot tub being in the patio area is convenient and got well used! Big shout out to The Command Post - very welcoming, great food and I would recommend the Cherry Fizz cocktail! Not enough people know about Landal, second park we have been too - but we recommend them all the time. The reception area being so far away and not open over weekend is a small negative but not enough to worry about and a number is available if you need it. Maybe a preferred cab number maybe a good idea (with a discount)! Just returned from a weekend here with my husband and it was exactly what we needed! The area is so peaceful and has amazing surroundings. Our was beautiful, immaculately and the aesthetic is so modern! It’s close to Peterborough town which was handy for us. There were a few things to point out. There was a pack of out of date bacon left in the wine fridge. The hot tub seemed to turn off multiple times when we were in it. The shower was leaking. There was a small gap at the bottom of the door and the drains were very slow in draining so water was just coming out of that gap. On our second night there was a high pitched squealing sound coming from a grey box in the boiler cupboard which woke me up a few times in the night and I did develop a headache from the noise. The last thing was on the ‘meet the team’ on the tv there was no mention of the housekeepers/cleaners that the lodges. I found this a little disappointing as their job is so important and vital to the business. Overall, even with the few cons we would return. I don’t think it’s worth marking down as there’s so many other great things to focus on. We just hope that when we return we don’t have experience the same high pitched noise. Thanks for a great ☺️ We really enjoyed our here in the lodges at Rockingham Park. Our felt well put together and all the provided amenities worked well. The hot tub was and covered from the elements, parking was good and the automated barriers worked well. Overall, it was a truly stress free escape well organised and our guest hamper was very generous with a bottle of wine and 2 bags of various coffee and tea bits. We also enjoyed a nice scenic walk around the park. We stayed in the cottage! Hands down the best place me and my fiance have ever stayed! Self check in, this made our that extra special making you feel like you really was in the middle of nowhere. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The area is so peaceful and quiet. Plenty of walking routes, pubs, rivers/ponds/lakes. There is a command post on site which do food and cocktails. There is a museum on site. Doggy park and a kids park. They also have a communal bbq area perfect if you are coming as a big family and need the extra space. All lodges have there own car space. Plenty of wildlife to watch. We was having a cocktail at the command post watching RED KITES fly around playfully! Such stunning birds! Highly recommended this place for family's, couples or even if you just want to away from the world this place is the spot. Me and my partner stayed in a one bedroom with a hot tub Mon - Fri and we had such a relaxing break. The itself was very and had everything you could think of, welcome pack with tea, coffee and biscuits, milk in the fridge and a cleaning pack which was a touch. Everything seemed very new still, the hot tub was so and was sunken so very private. The park itself was full as it was during the 6 weeks holiday but was still really relaxing and peaceful, it’s also set very far back from the road. We explored most of the walking trails, the big lake just a short walk from the lodges is very tranquil and makes a peaceful spot. We stopped and had a cider at the bistro one afternoon, the lady was so friendly and the strawberry cider was lovely! We had a break and will definitely be returning in the future :) Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
