This is so much fun and time goes so fast once you are in the room. It's good you are given glues if you are stuck for too long. Staff are just the best and very helpful with my booking. This was amazing. We did the Bank heist. The puzzles were very challenging, in a good way, the host was great helping us now and again with some tips when we would get stuck. And we manage to get Top 5 in the leaderboards. Highly recommend. We played witchcraft and wizardry. It was well organized and our host was engaging and helpful. The was well decorated and solving the clues had the right difficulty element with some very nice touches. It was easy to find and parking outside was via an app which was reasonably priced at £1.50 for 2hrs. We'll be back to play again. I didn't think I liked rooms, but after doing the Taken here, I've changed my mind. I had a blast. The like a somewhat linear puzzle, which I liked. There were only a couple of clues that a little randomly placed in the room. Great fun. Good value and makes you think. Clever games. We will be back We did the Odyssey Twenty Three this weekend. The set design was very impressive, but some tasks overly complicated and impossible to solve without clues. The reason for the 1-star review though is the poor customer service from our master (long brown hair, glasses). With six minutes left, we repeatedly asked for a clue but got no response. Assuming he couldn’t hear us, we kept asking. Only after the ended did he tell us—in a rude, irritated tone—that he had heard us “the 18th time” and chose not to respond because it would “take too long” to type a quick message. He continued making comments about us asking for clues, which really spoiled the experience. We’ve done many rooms, including two at this venue, and have never been treated like this. It genuinely put a downer on the whole visit, and we won’t be returning. My advice to the master: be kind, assume positive intent, and remember that your input is part of the experience too. After hearing friends going to rooms Peterborough and having a great time, unfortunately didn't live up to expectations at all. It took us a while to get our head around how it all worked as we had no clue what to expect and the lady running it didn't explain it in the best way to us. She was very friendly though. By the time we had properly got into it we had used 3/4 of our time. We had to be given a lot of clues as we we just didn't know where to look next. Really don't think it was worth the money. This was the wizardry room, i dare say other rooms might be better but for us it's not something we could justify another £50 on. Really fun place, challenging rooms so would recommend a team of people. Easy to find but didn't look like there was much parking. Rough area but inside was clean and secure with friendly staff and fun games. I took my daughter here for her 14th birthday and we went into the cabin. It was a very challenging but we all had fun . The venue was really cool, the staff were really helpful and we had a really nice hour with our friends doing something a bit different. It was also really interesting to learn a bit about local history. 100% recommend! We completed the Cabin today and it was amazing but hard. Unfortunately mild annoyance turns to frustration and boredom and that’s what happened here. Played several style before and find them enjoyable provided the has a good flow to it. That wasn’t the case here. Played the witchcraft and wizardry and it had some good ideas but they weren’t implemented very well. Spent the first fifteen minutes trying to understand the point of it. You are supposed to be searching for a lost professor but the start of the doesn’t flow and completing tasks of no relevance to this objective. Asked for hints but no hints were provided which were of any use at all. Other have a bell or button for hints and that’s what’s needed her provided the hints are useful. does have some interesting ideas such as spells and potions but when casting the spell nothing happens. Not sure if this is done automatically or the host should be paying abit more attention. moved on to a sniffing section where you sniff bottles to determine the scent and this gives you a code for a lock all the bottles smelt the same of licourice and when one of the puzzles had this is a pleasant aroma well that is completely subjective. No hints of any value provided during this section which we were stuck on for twenty minutes and almost walked out. Eventually got the lock open by placing random combinations found in front of the bottles. The rest of the was more enjoyable but the 35 minutes spent waiting around put us off. Wouldn’t return. I was given a Gift voucher for 2 games, with 2 people but gift vouchers are one use only. If you do not use the full amount on your gift voucher, you will lose the remaining balance. Now they are not answering their phone or emails. This doesn't seem right. The the cabin was very challenging for the 5 of us but lots of fun I loved how the puzzles were so hard but can do if u have the right mindset the person who was in charge jasper was amazing very helpful kind me and my family will definitely be back for a different one maybe (taken) over all it was a great experience.
