Rutland water Park

Oakham, United Kingdom Beach

One of the Best Places To Visits in Edith Weston Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Walked around half of the reservoir. Footpaths well signposted, so you know exactly where you are on the map. Beaches closed due to covid19, but toilets and food stalls/cafes open. Lovely place to visit, whatever age you are. Perfect for walking and cycling. Plenty of resting places to take in the views. Such a beautiful place to visit and well kept and litter free. Also a great place to cycle around. I enjoyed cycling the 23 mile loop around Rutland Water (including peninsula). The path surface varies from gravel to cement, but seems doable on most bicycles. It is mostly flat with a few hills. Most of the time, I felt I could enjoy nature and peace/quiet. But when you get closer to the big car parks (Normanton, Whitwell, Skyes Lane, etc) it can get pretty crowded with pedestrians and cyclists everywhere, especially on a sunny weekend. Lovely place for a day out, u can have a BBQ there as long as it's above the grass level.. lovely play area for kids..boating, cycling was fun.. It is a really nice place to have a nice day there, there is a huge part where you can picnic, the natural reserve is huge so you can go hiking as well. There is an aquapark and you can rent canoes and standing paddle boards for a good price. Perfect for families and groups of friends that want to have a nice day in a nature place. They have plenty of carparks and there is a cafe and bar to eat something. Also every hour there is a boat with a restaurant and drinks that go around the lake. Totally recommended if you are looking for a place to have a nice day Lovely spot with plenty of walking routes and fantastic water sports available for a very reasonable price. Really busy though so try and visit outside of peak hours to really enjoy this place. Perfect for a full day out - the grassy areas even come with built on barbecue stands! Great little beach and grassy waterside at Sykes car park. BBQ "facilities" are metal stands to put disposables on. Lake is slimey and rocky if you go more than ankle deep. Great place for a day out with family or friends, bbq, big play area for children, miniature beach and a sand pit for children to play with sand, lots of green area for football etc and trails for walking and biking... Great park with great walks. There is opportunity to hire bikes and explore further. Worth a visit Maybe it's a good place to stay with family and have a barbecue on the grass. Parking is not to expensive coffee available . But if you're thinking about spending time swimming or staying in water you gonna be really disappointed . Nice sand as advertised but not sandy beach as sand finish around 2-3 metres from water and sharp stone and mud started from this point (check pictures) not inflatables allowed so where we can youse it in our bathrooms? Water is not deep enough for swimming ( acces only to around 10 metres check pictures) Fantastic place to spend free time Recommend very good organisation needs more toilets It was so boring and it was not relaxing at all to many kids Lovely place for walking and picnic Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
