The landscape is pretty and is good for hiking. I also like the cabin as it’s a perfect place to take a break. Since the cabin looks old and not the most energy efficient, it would need to be modernised with the improvement of insulation, windows and integration of modern components like LED lighting and heat pumps for both heating and cooling instead of wood. Nice place to take a rest and chill after the climb. It has a barbeque/fire place. The tower nearby has cool view on east, central and south Zagreb, whole Medvednica mountain, Zagorje all the way from Ivanščica to Strahinjščica hill and further to Slovenia. Very nice lodge, lot of outside tables, fine view. Approx. 45 min from Sljeme tower by eMTB. Best m.cabin on Medvednica. Only hikers coming here. Verrygood food and great ambient. A great place on top of the hill. On weekends they've also got a cheap lunch (not sure how it's organised during week). You can also come and drink tea/coffee and enjoy the view. Enjoyable place. Very nice view, and they have excellent beer “Velebitsko pivo”. Try dark one, it is really good. Very nice place, may be very croudy, like at weekends, but it's a good way to spend your weekend with friends and family. You can also have a snack or a tea there.
