So here it is. Unfortunately, the management is trying too hard to work on appearances for adult clients, in ways that tend to take away the joy of being present with children there. The employees are really trying to keep the floors dry. Good luck doing that with the children jumping around. It’s a pool, the floors are going to be wet. Accept that, let the place be enjoyable. If the employees are stressing the parents not to let the children have fun, then the parents are going to stress the children not to jump in the water at every three minutes intervals, then all the fun goes away. Well, the place is new so I suppose they still try to learn and adapt to their customers. Otherwise, I think it’s a great place to go and relax as an adult. By far one of my favourite hotel - The SPA has a cold plunge pool, first time experience - the room was spacious and very clean - Staff is very friendly and polite - diverse breakfasts with a nice view from terrace - the toilets are equipped with a bidet function Hotel super ok! Everything looks brand new, friendly staff, very nice swimming pool, not crowded... nice stay. There is an issue with the parking lot, too small, crowded, not marked and with a dumb barrier that does not read license plates. We had a great experience with the spa and the restaurant. The food is very diverse and well cooked and the spa is super clean. The staff was professional and accomodating. Great price and by far the best place in Zalau to stay!❤️ Where do I even begin? If you’re looking for a place to get scammed under the illusion of luxury, this is it. I booked a 2-hour spa session as clearly advertised—only to be rudely interrupted mid-session by a completely disengaged staff member with glasses, shouting across the room that the session “no longer exists.” News flash: it’s still on the damn poster. Manners? Absolutely non-existent. The staff behave as if paying customers are a nuisance, not guests. Now let’s talk about the poolside, which is constantly wet and dangerously slippery. As a certified swimming teacher and lifeguard myself, I was shocked to see no lifeguard present—a complete violation of basic health and safety standards. I even slipped myself. It’s an accident waiting to happen. The saunas? Disgusting. Full of sweaty men wearing caps (against hygiene policy), no towels in sight despite rules saying otherwise, and essential oils dumped everywhere, making the space smell like a chaotic mix of dollar-store diffusers. Absolutely unhygienic and unpleasant. The restaurant is probably the only saving grace in terms of food quality—but it’s outrageously overpriced for the city. To top it off, waiter Bogdan messed up our order and acted like it was our fault. This establishment parades itself as a luxury experience, but given all of the above, I wouldn’t even rate it 2 stars, let alone 5. Avoid unless you enjoy being overcharged, ignored, and put at risk.
