Around 22:00 waiter asked us to order some sort of bottle set or something expensive since we were occupying the table at busy time on a Saturday night. We asked for shots of vodka+redbull, while he asked us to get double shots. Result was that i could not really feel the double vodka in my glass and it tasted as a shy single shot...total 145 kuna. Staff is very knowledgeable on their products and can speak about the history of each of their wines. They also offer indoor and outdoor seating. I wanted to order fresh lemonade and the waiter said they made it earlier and the juice is left in a bottle, which I refused and asked for a fresh one, and he said he will not make me a fresh one. And then he told me to go and sit somewhere else. Very rude and upolite, what is the point of drinking a old lemonade, there is no vitamin C any more. Awfull place and atmosphere. They don’t respect thier guests. It can happen that you drink two cocktails there, ask for water, and wait 25 minutes for it, despite both bartenders making eye contact with you several times during this period. (It doesn't help if you remind the bartender about the water three times.) The cocktail was fine, though. Not a WINE bar, just a bar. As indeed wine selection is short plus nothing special about them. Though, what truly deserves these 2 stars is the price for a mix platter : 184 kuna (24€), more expensive than in Paris, congratulations for this achievement !!! When for a better quality platter, same size, we paid 89 kuna (11€) in a true wine bar elsewhere in Zagreb. Disappointed by the tourist scam I encountered at La Bodega, but oh well luckily Zagreb has plenty of other good spots.
