It was fun, we went as a goof but it wasn't bad, they had a few and the music was decent. Eventually more people showed up. Nice place with free WiFi, popular with tourists. There's tables outside. They have 9 draft and 12 bottles or cans. spirited staff. They faced the situation with poise and equanimity. We just witnessed a bachelor party of a dozen drunk obnoxious men that wrecked the place as they left. Shameful. They broke a table, broke glasses, spilled everywhere, and left without leaving a tip. Valhalla dude took ova - not the fancy can but still quite nice from tap and nice outside area. Is only temporary so let's see where we meet him next time. The barkeeper was and helpful in suggesting drinks for us and we enjoyed our time! Such a cool, unique little place. The Tolkien theme- an obsession of the owner- runs throughout the place. The outdoor area sits on a quiet corner across from an old church. Best pub we went to in Zagreb. The bar is cool, the only problem is that inside you can smoke, and I don't like that so much... but the bar is and there is place outside too. Two of my favourite things! Lord of the Rings and beer! We figured we would have a few and maybe spend 1-1,5 hours but we ended up staying a 4-5 hours because the atmosphere and the music were so nice and we felt very much 'at home'. They have really nice local on tap from Nova Runda and also a variety of other European including very Lord of the Rings themed from Mad Scientist. This is a must visit if you like everything Tolkien, fantasy, board games, and vibes! When we left the bartender even recommended a shop in Zagreb where they offer a very wide variety of beers.
