Great place to start a number of cracking walks. Plenty of parking, which is cheap. Can either pay by card, coins or via app. Polecam z pełną przyjemnością Interesting presentations around the walls and a little cafe and toilets. The staff member in the Centre was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area and lovely to talk to. We chose the shortest as it was very hot, but there were many others to choose from, all fully described on info boards and well signposted. The Bennachie trails and walks are excellent and anchored on the visitor centre, toilets open at 0800 and clean and well maintained Wirklich guter Kaffee...ausserordentlich freundliche Angestellte..hübsche Ausstellung...zudem die Waldwanderwege rund um das Venter sind nur gut. Hinfahren! This is the 3rd starting point I've used to up to Bennachie. The up through the forest is very pleasant. The next stage ... to the old wall around Mither Tap (one of the peaks) is steep but well laid steps / stones mark the route. We stopped for lunch here ... sheltered by the wall. Final stage .. short burst to the top ... I skipped. The weather can change fast up there ... we had glorious sunshine and sleet within a short time frame. Winds at the top were too strong for me to risk ... but the down was lovely. The visitor centre itself was closed, mid week in March, but the toilets were clean and open. What a beautiful place to spend the day. I am disabled and can find walks tough but decided to brave the colony path. Its beautiful but if you have wee ones the 1hr15min will be closer 2.5 hours. Still such a beautiful place. Great place with cheapest fridge magnet in Scotland. Good coffee, choice of paths, great, great hills with amazing views Very friendly staff, clean welcoming with a lot of interesting historical information about the area Great spot to start your trip to Bennachie. The trek up to Mither's Tap is rather steep at times, but once you've made it up, you get rewarded with a beautiful view. Be sure to continue on to the Oxen Craig and the other, smaller granite tops on the ridge. All are easily accessible via the many footpaths along the ridge, no map necessary. Going down you can also take a detour via the many smaller trails that go along the mountain side, before they meet up again at the visitor centre. Excellent place for active recreation.Very good for short or long walking and the same time if someone is happy for hiking. Stunning views from top of Mither Tap. Interesting ruins of Pikt's Fortes on top of mountain. Always a nice , people are always friendly, must admit my legs were a bit wobbly on the way down, had to be a bit more carefull as the stones and tree roots were a bit wet and slippery from the rain earlier in the morning. Fantastic place to go. Lots of different walks for different abilities. Visitor centre had gifts to buy and also a small cafe with drinks, cakes and ice cream. There was also some educational displays for children. Great up as always! Steps to heaven 🙈😂 Great place. Fantastic variety of walks and great scenery. If you want to do MTB, cycle, hike, trail, around, hike, se lovely nature, have a family picnic or just chill....this is the place for you Beautiful scenery and a good Nice small visitors centre, good carpark with toilets avaliable Schönes Center, vor allem für Kinder. Parkplatz eingebettet in der Natur und sehr schöner Waldabschnitt direkt hinter dem Center. Accessible and clean toilets at the beginning of the trail, with plenty of parking spots for hikers, with decently priced pay to park Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
