The car park was £3 for 3 hours (card only) but there were plenty of spaces. 5 minute walk from the car park to the beach. Fabulous day out. Many many on the beach. Beautiful within easy walking distance of a large carpark (barrier blocking cars wider than 2.5m). Well worth a visit, especially on a clear spring day. Plenty of to see and they are close enough that they are in the river mouth or across the water. There are many of them. They are active during the day and you will likely see them in the water or sat on the edge. Parking is nearby and only a short walk.
