We did an ice course: very good organisation and staff. The ice was quite thin but they made it work. Looking forward to coming back here again for some more (ice) diving! A SSI school with a superb customer service. Now run by Mimi & Basti - to super and always helpful instructors living the dream! You feel like long friends from the first day. The food between the dives is homemade by the two and fabulous! We spent a long weekend ice there and could not have thought of anything better. All was already prepared when we arrived, there was always plenty of hot and cold drink before, inbetween and after dives including sweet and savoury snacks. For lunchtime we had stew the first day, barbequevthe second day and pasta on the last day - and all locally home made! The school caters from beginner to advanced and has a filling bank for your own tanks as well as rental gear available. For the ice three holes are already prepared with two support crew for each hole. The safety equipment is the latest standard. They even have heated changing rooms installed directly at the lake to but on your gear in the warmth. This place is a true 5 star divers place! I highly recommend this place. The lake and the view are absolutely beautiful. The equipment was in a very good condition and our instructor, Manu, was very patient, and professional making us feel safe at all the time. All the staff is very attentive and nice. The food at the bistro was good. The was really cool, the lake has a good visibility and there are nice things you can see under the water. Vielen Dank für die super Organisation, das vorausschauende Arbeiten und die komplette Organisation. Euer Catering war top... insbesondere für die Veganer, Vegetarier und die Teilnehmer mit Lebensmittel-Intoleranzen. Keiner ist verhungert. Man merkt dass ihr das Tauchen liebt und lebt!!! Das Tauchen an den Eislöchern war top organisiert und man hat sich zu jederzeit sicher gefühlt. Euer Team ist spitze und zuvorkommend. Vielen Grüße und Empfehlungen auch an die Pension Wassermann. You'll definitely will have some stunning dives there. The visibiltiy is (in comparison to other lakes aroud austria) most of the time pretty good. The team is very professional and friendly. I had a lot of fun with them. Beneath that, they also have brand new equipment and some deliciouse snacks at their own bistro. I really recommend to with Weissensee, I'll come back for sure.
