Road is long and windy so it creates great adventure Great little fortress with amazing views over the valley! The path is not well maintained so be wary of that. Nice old castle Ruins! Good to wander and walk around. I recommend stopping at the restaurant by for a coffee break or even to have lunch! People are very nice and helpful. If they can't speak english they will try somehow to help you in any case. Access road little used. Fortress uninteresting, minimal attempts at conservation. Parking area disgustingly full of rubbish. Conclusion: don't bother. Ако сте в Струмица и се чудите какво да правите я посетете .... Пътеката започва от Ловния дом над града, лежерна, приятна и с красиви гледки . Маршрутите са два дълг- по пътеката за Свети Илия,дома за стари хора и кулата ,и краткия но стръмен през гората. Аз минах краткия ,козя пътека осеяна с диви циклами :-) За Цареви Кули - място с дух и история,но не подържано,без информация и осеяно с боклук :-( Nice view Clean Mountain air and you can see the whole town from the top. It's a historical place worth visiting. Unfortunately a lot of rubbish everywhere. Absolutely amazing drive up to the ruins but once there, not much to see other than the view of the surrounding area... That being said, the view of the surrounding area is spectacular! Just an advise.. careful where you go with the car as you might miss the right turn like I did 🤣 enjoy and try to get up there at sunset or at sunrise.. the light is amazing for photography lovers like myself Nice ruins of castle above the city of Strumica. Opened all day. And narrow but good road for car goes right to the front of the ruins.
