Cool sport bar with potential, but what knocks down my review is food. Despite the meal was served very well, it was very mediocre. Steak was like chewed gum and everything was very salty. My girlfriend's chicken tagliatelle was so spicy (black pepper) that it was the only taste of the meal. Burgers, chicken wings etc. of other people looked good, but cannot judge the taste. Beer OK, mixed drink OK. Service OK, but when they took dishes, they kept other "dirt" on the table. Food is very cheap though. The were good. We didn’t have any food as the kitchen was closed. was friendly. Interesting decor. I haven't had their food. But their are and the prices are right! Not a lot of margaritas around, but they make a passable margarita even. Personally though I drink where the locals drinks. This is not really a tourist bar. But they'll serve tourists as well. It's a sailor themed establishment. Very nice sports bar that serves tasty food. value and portion sizes. Recommend giving this place a visit. Amazing pub!! We (Shamrock Rovers) met there prior to our football match, were overwhelmed by the amount of fans & drink consumed. On the 2nd of 3 days they ran out of draught Super Bock on draught, large bottles and small bottles and Somersby Cider !!! staff, atmosphere, prices and fun. spot for a beer or pre/after dinner drink. Did not sample the food but the were friendly, reasonable prices and facilities. Cool Interior. The best funky bar in PD to my opinion. Not in a fancy location perhaps, but with many vibes inside. Some tables also scarcely available outside. Good cocktails and some local beers on the tap, including a sweet Stout. They should induce more bitters and IPA’s, left alone the Belgian superior artefacts. We spent a few nights in here soaking up the beer/wine and atmosphere. Met some people from all over the planet and had a time. Closest thing to a pub we found while we were there. Lovely place with a lively atmosphere. I strongly recommend the steak, it was packed with flavour and comes an egg that complements the sides of chips and rice or salad (choose the salad) well. The Cantina parafernalia is very nice, the place looks awesome and local. The sad truth is that as cool as it looks it's service is quite deficient, they are slow, rude and always in a rush. Their attitude is very unfriendly and they don't show ant kind of patience to their costumers. The plus side is that the food, even though it takes ages (45plus min), it's very good!! The took 35plus min to get to our table and they were not as as expected. If you manage to come on a quiet day I'm sure it will be a very nice place to visit, however if you visit on a Monday, with full tables and no line outside you might bot enjoy your time here. In this old fisherman's pub in Ponta Delgada, there are more spirits than fish in the sea! The cocktails are so fresh, you’d think they were just pulled from the ocean. And the beers?
