Very very nice private museum. It is a great example of how to do it for a lot of paid public museums and this one's entrance is FREE. The owners are very polite and explains everything in there and even though it looks small, it has an impressive of pieces. There is also a shop for buying a souvenir. There's no entrance for disabled people unfortunately. There is enough space for parking your car, also don't let you be intimidated by the deplorable state of the surrounding buildings, the place seemed safe :). It is worth visiting even if you have to detour just for it. Amazing in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains. Either for professionals or just amateurs, this has something for everyone. You’ll learn a lot about geology and minerals from two very passionate people. There is no entrance fee but it’s highly recommended to stop by at the souvenir shop. Will always come back with pleasure :) Este o locație frumoasă merită văzută aceasta locatie One of the most emblematic museums of the Apuseni. Here you can see exhibits of millions of years of rock and part of the gold extraction from the Zarand area. It is special, fascinating, the and seriousness of the Toda made this stone unique, I say, in the whole world. One of the most emblematic museums of the Apuseni. Here you can see exhibits of millions of years of rock and part of the gold extraction from the Zarand area. It is special, fascinating, the and seriousness of the Toda made this stone unique, I say, in the whole world. A private and with a free entrace museum. Not impressive on the outside(in an old office building of the Gura Barza gold mine) but having the largest private of minerals existing in Romania. You will travel around the world and at the end you can also buy jewelry made from beautiful and interesting minerals. Definitely worth a visit, you will not regret a minute. We visited the place on a gold tour with The Saxon House Garbova (they make tours by car or motorcycle) Marvelous place. Extensive of minerals gathered over 50 years by the owner and her family. This is an exceptional experience in the Apuseni Mountains, in the heart of Tara Moților. You will have the unique opportunity to meet not only the tour organizers but also the very collectors of these exquisite stones. Engaging directly with the explorers provides an invaluable layer to the experience, allowing for detailed insights into their passion and work. Furthermore, you will receive in-depth explanations on any topic of interest and have the option to purchase these unique products at very fair prices. Excelent private from a passionate collector and lapidary worker. An absolutely magnificent place. You can feel in your bones that you’re in the presence of special energies! And the people who run it are local heroes, have been personally creating the for decades. An absolute must-see! Beautiful unique pieces and welcoming knowledgeable host. Happy we visited. Stop by and enjoy. Indrukwekkende collectie, mooi getoond. Great place to visit — highly recommended! The lady who greeted us was very kind and welcoming. Impressive run by the family. Its worth a visit if your into stones and crystals. Very kind and informative lady. It is Toda’s museum(based on aprox 50 years of passionate work); it has plenty of interesting infos about minerals and different (semi)precious stones; the guide was a nice lady(from the Toda family); it also has a small souvenir shop and it has no entrance fee. A nice surprise near Brad, after visiting the Gold Museum. Is displays amazing (semi)precious stones from our country and a few from abroad. Very nice and interesting visit! It is pretty clear that the owner and also the founder of the is very passionate about his and put a lot of effort into gathering the impressive mineral collection.I highly recommend visiting the museum! Great hosts, they were very kind and offered us a nice tour around. Admirable the passion and years put into this hobby and the thought that they are sharing their beautifull with the community.
