I recommend the original Czech Budvar Pilsener. Wow, I was suprised how tasty the food was. The meat was so soft, it was melting in the mouth! A bit expensive for Croatian standard, but it was worth it, trust me. Go here if you wish to try homemade dishes. Lovely staff (mother and daughter run the restaurant). Food was delicious, very much, only the portion is ok for a woman, or if you eat soup before and dessert after, because you can leave maybe hungry, which then maybe doesn't justify high price. Great place to visit along the beautiful park center of historic city of Samobor. This gem of a cosy restorant is placed on the bank of a beautiful mountain river Gradna and offers tasty food and some good craft beer. Ivekova pivnica offers excellent service and is worth it. The waiter were so damn unfriendly it was insane. We thought about just going because the food wasn't good and the waiter were so mean to my little 2 year old sister. She was a bit sick and because of that she was crying a bit and the waitress was screaming at her to stop crying, which made it only worse. So don't go there if you have children.
