Amazing at low tide and high tide. Nice play to see/stay sand beaches, not as spectacular as I’ve hoped, but it’s nice to visit for a day Absolutely stunning beach! 🤍 The sand is soft and perfect, and on the right side you’ll find a lagoon that becomes visible at low tide. The calm waves make it easy and safe to enjoy the water — perfect for a relaxing swim. From the it's a half hour to the through the village. It's simply with a lot of colorful houses. Caribbean feelings and village vibes with small pedestrian walkways and bougainvilleas everywhere. Armona is and the relaxed atmosphere adds to its charm. The itself is a bit of a walk, but there is a fresh breeze. The water is warm (July), sectioned in between sand dunes and you can see swarms of small fish. Close to the pier are some restaurants. A magical day trip not to miss while in Olhão! A open and spacious sandy beach. An easy 20 minute from the ferry, through a village of little summer houses, brings you to a lovely cafe (ice-cream stop) and a board that leads onto the beach. The was so big, that within a 20m from boardwalk we had placed our towels, erected the umbrella and able to enjoy a uninterrupted view of the sea. As the tide went out the grew and grew, and we could take long walks along the beach. We spotted some big jelly fish. natural unspoilt beach. There is a cafe but also worth taking water/snacks. Takes 15-20 minutes to there from the ferry. We went at the start of October and it was still about 28c. Little from port but nice in itself. Couple of small shops to stop on the way to if you need water or a cheeky beer. Beach was nice and clean and quiet. I went a swim in the Ocean and it felt safe enough. Loads of space to make it feel your own. Toilets nearby too which is handy. Make sure take a towel and umbrella as no shelter near beach. Not worth it. Impossible to find parking, 20 minutes of ferry, 20 minutes of in extreme heat. The is boring, full of algae, without shade. It is a mistery why so many people come here.
