We spent a very nice day in this zoo. The had a lot of fun and didn't want to leave. The seem happy although I wish some of them had more space like the monkeys and the "Waschbär". The can play with the rabbits and goats who are friendly and walk freely. There are also different playgrounds. Only one bathroom though and no place to buy any food or water so keep that in mind. 38€ two parents with one child! The place is neglected and in many places dangerous! despite this the had a great time Always a lot of fun. Very dedicated people who care a lot about animals. Such a great place! Lame, simple animals, a dump with DIY cages and old children’s electrical attractions. Surprisingly expensive. This was a great petting zoo where some are roaming in the area freely. There are adorable goats all around the zoo. They also have a playground for which makes it a perfect place for families. 1. A poorly maintained where all the rides are substandard and dangerous, and most of them don't even work. 2. There are very few animals, and it doesn't meet the standards of a zoo at all. 3. Extremely expensive. This place is awful! It consists of run down, shabby, broken equipment with dangerous and unsafe toys with some in cages that desperately need cleaning. It's like some weird roadside attraction with old, rusty, broken down, and falling apart displays and the largest, eye-catching slide seen from the highway is completely inaccessible. And they have the audacity to charge 30 euros to enter, which in itself is completely insane, but even at an hour before closing. The whole place is awful and I truly feel bad for the there. Obviously no money is going into the maintenance and care of this facility. I can't believe they are still open, indeed, are allowed to be open. Please do not waste your time and money here - you will only be disappointed and sad. Stopped by the park' with my wife and 3 kids. 45 euros. Absolutely not worth the money. The whole was runned down. Super old equipment. Figurines and non-animal exhibits were super creepy and very old. They had a container just with old creep dolls in it and another 'bear cage' full of super old teddy bears.... Just why....? They had a whole section with just a bunch of garden gnomes random all over the ground? Some of the were in small poor conditions. The whole needs to be shut down and renovated. Sad really. I would be embarrassed if I was the owner. Not worth the time and the money paid… Very very few animals, very old playing equipments… it seems the entire had no maintenance in the recent years… even the grass cutting was months ago.. Entry ticket costs are 3-4 times higher compared to what the offers.. Nostalgic, charming, and surprisingly fun – despite the quirks We’ve been to this animal a few times now, and every time it brings out our inner child. Yes, it’s true what some reviews mention – the shows its age, and a few parts feel a bit outdated. But it’s 30 years old! That kind of charm can’t be faked. Some enclosures could definitely be bigger or more modern, especially for a few of the larger animals. Still, most of them look healthy and genuinely relaxed – it feels like they’re living a good life. As students, we paid just 2x€8 thanks to a small discount – totally worth it. You can also grab a feeder basket filled with grains for €1 (cash only for it all!!) which the goats and other absolutely love. One goat was a little too excited and left muddy hoofprints on light pants – fashion warning: dress wisely based on the weather. The playground has its worn spots, but there are newer sections too, and the toilets were impressively clean – complete with wet wipes for easy hand-cleaning after all the animal fun. It’s not a luxury zoo, but it doesn’t try to be. For the price, it’s more than fair. There are picnic benches to chill and a coffee machine for a warm drink. Even in the rain, we had a blast. Seeing the – and especially the baby (baby raccoons, goats, chickens, ducks, bunnies) – made it all worth it. Flawed? Yes. But still absolutely delightful. Awesome place for the family. Can pet rabbits, goats, deer, very cool place to spend a few hours. Its basically one enormous petting zoo. Most love the attention from kids/adults and dont mind being petted. Yes, it's showing its age a bit, but isn't there a charm in that? I think its awesome this place has been running for 30 years. There are little playplaces scattered about the place, which definitely keeps the amused, as i saw many enjoying themselves. And of course, there is the big playground with the iconic big slide that you can see from the highway. Again, there is some wear and tear, but nothing dangerous and nothing that a kid minds.
