Well kept course, but by god get a cart, a whole load of hills, but nice when you make the turn and get to BOOM it 300 yrds Fantastic golf course for the price. Not a member. Just visiting for the day and I must say it it was brilliant. Course is very hilly and has plenty of water and sand to keep you aware. Grass is kept very well, greens kept very well and fairways kept very well. Very well signposted so hard to get lost. Class clubhouse too. Excellent golf course better course than the Blarney golf course in my opinion. It's a tough one with a few hills. But alot of fun. And has a nice par 3 were your above it. And you have to hit over trees looks easy but is far from it. Its been about 10 years since I was there. But one if the best courses in Cork Full disclosure, I occasionally work here (and have since the 90's). That aside, the course, people and facilities are top-end. McKenzie re-designed track, overseen by one of the best coaches in Ireland. Food & drink's top class as expected and very reasonably priced. One of the oldest courses in Cork. No grip it and rip here unless you're deadly straight. Great challange, with four really great finishing holes that will make or break your card. Good course management required. A Bucket List must. Played here on 4th June 2019. Course was in fabulous condition, a bit hilly so might need a buggy if you don't fancy climbing a fair few uphill holes, lovely views from top of course. Well done to the maintenance staff. A classy Alister McKenzie layout let down by the removal of several bunkers across the course and poor course conditioning. Green complexes were also very slow which was a disappointment. Some lovely holes remain with 13,17 & 18 being the highlights. Great experience playing as visitor for the first time in Muskerry. We were very lucky as we shared the tee off with a member of the club who was fab and guided us along the course and even gave us some tips and lessons. People is super friendly and the course is stunning with few hills and amazing views. The course is kept in high standard from tees to green.
