You might need your Google maps to get to the front door of this place, but if you have food to contribute, then find it. These are a great bunch of people, with hearts of gold. Extremely positive and cheery despite what they experience on a near daily basis. I had a LOT of food recently left over from a school communion party, which just about fitted in my car. I loaded up and headed off. On arrival, I didn't know what to expect, having never been before that. I met the lady in charge who, despite being busy, had time to chat and thank me for the supplies. Three of her 'regulars' came out and helped me unload the car. Three lovely lads, all extremely grateful and very friendly. If you have excess food, party leftovers, or something worthwhile that would help Corks homeless and hungry population, then please do consider them. They are amazing people. Catriona and her team run a fantastic service here, probably the best run food provision charity in Ireland! No questions, no judgement, no restrictions just food and clothing when needed. I come here to load my van and help my mother in law redistribute the food we're given to the vulnerable here in Clare. Catriona always fills my van to overflowing, in fact I broke my axle coming home one-time! This is a must have service and needs constant support. Please, please, please give them ANYTHING you can. Help for homeless people, on welfare and other not so well situated people. Donations (food, clothing, other useful items) are always welcome. The stuff is more than friendly and I think they sometime wish they could give even more. Besides food you always get a smile. It is what it is. And plenty of use it Outstanding work providing much-needed food to the community. This solidarity is truly admirable and makes a real difference. For anyone receiving help, please remember to be grateful for the generosity shown – a simple "thank you" goes a long way. Fantastic who work and care for so many in need .May you all be blessed in abundance. Incredible and much-needed work! I hope one day to be a volunteer and help other people. The slim man with the glasses is just rude and disrespectful. He gives 2 full bags to some people, and just a water and a takeaway for others. Also, if you dare to ask for something, he is rolling his eyes. For some reason, my food was never closed properly, so all the food ended up in the bag, and had to throw it away. A lot of complained to me, for the same treatment, still, nobody cares. Humiliating experience. Would anyone in charge finally do something??? I know ye help a lot of who deserve it and make their day and Christmas special but when I see sitting outside St Francise Chruch well dressed not one Irish person Delivero guys with the fancy bikes please they working just not right.i would love to take a picture and post it so if anyone reading this go take a look yer self's every Monday at 12.30.
