This is a trek to get down to and obviously getting out is the reverse. If you have children and a push chair be prepared. The is beautiful but packed the water was warm and sandy underfoot, but too many people, boats, BBQs drink. Glad to get out of there. This is a hidden gem, absolutely beautiful cove, when the tide is out there is a long stretch of with caves and rock pools to explore. There is a 350m down and you do have to brave the hill up bit definitely worth the extra effort Really quiet cove tucked away in a corner. Worth exploring but only during low tide. Good view from the beach. Parking available. From parking there is a steep slope to down. This is one of the great secluded sandy closest to cork. This has a good car park. There’s a tarmac way until the seashore. But the way is steeper and caution to be taken while walking up or down. There is a stream joins the which allows us to enjoy. There’s a cliff also for grownups. The most stunning in east cork. Do be prepared for a hefty uphill when leaving the beach. Nicest during low tide. White Bay is a lovely scenic on the south coast of Ireland. Safe for swimming and offers an amazing view from the beach. Lots of yachts, boats, and tankers come past in the distance as it's near the entrance to Cork port. To access the beach, you need to up at the Car and down a long lane to the beach. There is a long steep up and down from the parking park. Do not forget to check the tides, as the gets small at high tide. Most of the time it's windy. Nice to swim, shallow water. Safe for kids. Lots of caves. At some places the rocks are loose, so take care when finding place to settle. This is so beautiful , very calming and clean, only downside is you need to a little bit from the parking to reach the beach, and coming back up hill on a warm day is a bit exhausting 😅 White Bay is a stunning destination with breathtaking scenery. The down to the is a highlight, offering picturesque views along the trail. Once you arrive, you'll find a car and a few benches perfect for a picnic. Ideal for anyone seeking a tranquil spot surrounded by natural beauty. An amazing swimming with lovely white sand. Best to visit at low tide. A fairly long steep down from the car but the pathway has just been resurfaced and is now 100% buggy or wheelchair friendly. The only snag with a buggy is that you do need to get over a section of pebbles and rocks to get onto the sand. Great for families with kids! One of, if not the best in the world! The view is fantastic, some people are swimming in the sea. Small secluded with car park. Tarmac pathway all the way to from carpark but it is a long and very steep. Sea is calm in this area, great for children, swimming and paddle boarding.
